the reason the creator didn’t want any sequels is because there’s nothing new they could add to the game, any sequel would just be more of the same. which is ironic in hindsight since one of the sequels is literally just content from the earlier games.

that’s actually the only reason any of the sequels got made at all.

the “dance moves” and his “look” is his shtick. his real name is Daimaou Kosaka, Pikotaro is a persona he created for his comedy act. that’s like bitching about Larry the cable guy acting like Larry the cable during a comedy bit. you might not know this but Larry doesn’t really talk like that, it’s an act.

yeah you definitely don’t seem to understand. this anime has absolutely NOTHING to do with PPAP aside from the main character being based on and voiced by Pikotaro. he’s a comedian, it’s not unusual for him to get jobs like this.

you still don’t seem to understand. he has not made any money from his success. at all. nothing he has been involved in has resulted in him getting any money.

the music they added really makes everything fit together.
