What you don't seem to get is that you are in no way obligated to pay anything if you do not want to. And TA does it right. You can pay to unlock classes or weapons but you have to actually play in order to upgrade them . And really, if you want you can just unlock things using exp only. And the skins are just

I can't speak about the closed beta. I have played the open beta myself and I enjoy the game. I haven't played the other Tribes games but T:A is probably my favorite multiplayer FPS on the PC. And beta being beta I'm sure the game will just get better from here on out. They seem to be quick in responding to balance

I feel obligated to say that it is ok to be wasteful with paper products. We have more trees in the US now than we did 100 years ago thanks to the paper and lumber industries. Paper can only be recycled so many times before it can not be recycled again. Most paper come from wood chips from sawmills that produce lumber

Only way this could work is if they did a short series on HBO. Keep it gory, keep it uncomplicated. But I bet they will try to make it like Saw.

Ok, so I don't have a list in front of me. If you are interested, go look them up yourself. If there is one, there are other. I suggest looking at TB on youtube. He has talked about is a NUMBER OF TIMES in his mailbox vids.

Free to play does not have to mean pay to win. TotalBiscut has talked about this before. There are a number of games out now that are under the F2P model that do it right. Tribes Ascend is one.

I can't remember the last time I read such a lengthy article and it did not feel like a chore. Thank you. I am reminded of an old George Carlin joke:

"And God, whose name is Earl, said 'ACHOOO!' and it so be"

People, people, do you not have a junk gmail account for posting to forums? Use a throwaway gmail account with no real information linked to you and just use it for thing like this. That way if something happens and it does get hacked you can just make a new one.

I have a novel titled 'Phytoshpere' by Scott Mackay that I thought was a really good alien invasion story. You have these representatives of an alliance of alien planets that come to Earth so that the humans can join up with the big galactic boys. The humans decline and so the aliens cover the Earth is a green shell

Except that once a company has put out a new edition to a franchise they generally dump the old editions in favor of the new. This point was brought up by TotalBiscuit last week in his mailbox on youtube when some MW2 user servers were shut down even though the game company isn't going to be making much if any money

That would either kill consoles for gaming or it would force people to mod their consoles so that blocks tracking (if possible) or people would download console game rips and play them on emulators. It would not some much as stop used game sales as it would stop sales entirely and promote piracy.

Wasn't there something like that in the Hitchhiker's Guide books?

Well, I suppose that is his right, but even if they wanted to they could not create a new ending before his 30 days are up.

I liked it too. I didn't think it flopped, I just thought it didn't do as well as people thought it was going to do.

No, "it would be choose one of the following that best describes you on the job". You would choose one or the other. Some were obvious and others were not.

The questions have nothing to do with qualifications. It would be things like "Do you consider yourself talkative or hard-working?". I have taken a few and most seem just like those "Which character from Naruto are you?" type personality quizzes that have no real bearing on anything ever. I don't think it smug to say

Now if we can just get them to show those online job questionnaires for what they really are. I've missed out on 2 retail jobs because some not-checked-by-a-human question system decided I was not what they were looking for. Really, how hard is it to work for JCPenny or Sprint?

I'd like to see that. Could you get the link or at least remember the name of the vid?

I can't imagine them not letting people concede just on the fact that rounds are timed. A good player will scoop when he/she knows they can't win and go to the next game so they have more time to think in the second game.
