This is the version I heard, that the child dragged the cat (maybe trying to pick it up?) and then tossed it.

My local park has a guy who brings his snake! Its huge, but before we got to know the area I was there with my dog and throwing a ball for her, only to suddenly see a large man yelling, “watch out there’s a snake there!!!” and running to pick it up. 

Story is it was a child who attacked the animal and hurt it intentionally. I believe the people who attacked the owners were the child’s parents, after the owner tried to intervene and rescue her cat.

To those of us looking for it, yes. Only Toronto has that particular arc you described. It sucks so hard here right now. So damn hard. 

I sincerely hope this galvanizes public pressure to make vaccines mandatory unless you have an actual medial condition that precludes you from taking them. There is zero excuse for this bullshit, and it is going to harm us as a society far more if we allow it to continue.

At least you have the buoyancy of internet strangers. It is a very small something, but something nonetheless. What you are doing is 100% caring for a chronically ill person, which can be so isolating, even without *gestures to the world* going on.
