I do not know what part of the left you’re hanging around with, maybe you mean the Democratic party or some other institution, but I am here for any and all discussion about the money grubbing cult of every organized religion, especially monotheism. And so are most of my friends.

I mean, more generally those norms have broken down. We are all less strict about enforcement of social norms. Sometimes that’s a good thing - people should be able to consensually date/marry/fuck whomever they want - and sometimes it's bad - why does anyone think taking a phone call on transit is socially acceptable?
