I’m confused, how is the 2.7TT at 325hp/400ft-lbs ‘caught between’ a 285hp/260ft-lb engine and a 270hp/290ft-lb engine? The 2.7 is FAR ahead of the jeep offerings in performance.

That makes a lot of sense when talking about vehicles without ABS. How does that change with ABS? Especially on newer vehicles with independent ABS channels for each wheel? My assumption would be that 4wd/AWD would make no difference in braking in that case, but I don’t know

Interesting! I wonder how that observed difference would change depending on whether the vehicle has ABS and how many channels it has.

Very cool! I had mostly written off LED replacements for halogens as terrible, but it looks like there are some new options that have come out that I should look into. Very informative, thanks!

Lol, ok buddy. It’s alright if you don’t know how controlled oversteer works. I’ll go check with my shelf of regional rally trophies if I should care about the angry people on the internet.

Almost true. AWD certainly doesn’t help stop. However, if you know what you’re doing, AWD and being on the throttle while cornering will absolutely help you get around the corner faster.

The Raptor comes with ‘beadlock capable’ wheels (need to buy the actual beadlock ring from ford racing separately), no reason these couldn’t be the same

There’s a very, very good chance that there will be a manual. We know for a fact Getreg is working on a 7 speed manual with an optional crawler first gear that is going into some sort of Ford product....it would make more sense for that product to be the Bronco than anything else.

Same guy just posted a pic of the 2 door in the same thread:

The civic type R is a couple grand more than this in the UK, and those sell just fine over here. This is actually much more reasonable pricing than I was expecting.

If this came to north america I would be VERY tempted. I’m currently expecting to buy a new Bronco, but this could change my mind if it made its way here.

I could see these replacing the LR Discoveries a lot of groups use for off the beaten path camera cars, tour vehicles, etc. It’s not going to be pushing the capabilities to the limit, but it’s something. The issue for Land Rover is I don’t really see many people moving from something OTHER than an existing Land Rover

Not far, less than 10 miles. Practically I definitely could use an older Zero. I just really like the look of faired bikes so was wondering if this would do the trick.

It’s funny, I have no interest in LMP2, but DPI is fun. Even though the chassis don’t come straight from the manufacturer, it’s still Acura vs Mazda vs Cadillac (RIP Nissan). The fact that the engines in each are tied to the manufacturers and the significant styling changes that they make is enough for it to feel

So...if I live in an apartment and there isn’t a plug in the parking garage where I park my bike, how do I charge it? The old zero bikes you could take the battery out, bring it to your apartment and charge it there.

Yep, that is completely unacceptable. I would only ever be adjusting volume with the steering wheel controls in that car then.

That vehicle will exist too. It’s currently referred to as the ‘Baby Bronco’ until we hear its final name and will share a platform with the Escape but be more ‘rugged’

This is cool! I hope more manufacturers start making some proper desert focused machines. Preferable also some ones that aren’t pickup trucks. My eye is on the new Bronco, but if they made a Wrangler Mojave that would be cool.

I did it using 2 relays. One triggered by the switch for the lights, which controls the supply voltage to the next relay, which is triggered off the high beam signal wire (the same wire that triggers your high beam relay). So you only get power going to the light if both the switch is on and the high beams are on.

True.
