I know what you mean. I had some very hairy cousins who get got hair removed from their legs face and even back since they were little, maybe not 3 but very young. I hate to say the solution to bullying is conforming to beauty standards but some of that shit can really mess you up. I was lucky not to be hairy but had

I'm not sure why but I do believe it is a cultural thing, I know I had my ears pierced by nuns at the hospital as soon as I was born and so did all the other girls I know in my family and all the girls I knew in my school (all girls catholic school in Mexico). I wore the same little gold studs without ever taking them

I agree with you completely, I just get tired of people being "what about the women? they are bad/ dumb/ etc too!" Yeah, obviously, there are people like that in every race and sex but that's not the point here.

I didn't say it wasn't shaming... I guess we just have a different definition of cyberbullying. I also think the Nice Guys site's purpose is to make fun of these guys' misogynistic views, kind of like people make fun of someones racist views, which I am ok with. I am also totally ok with someone making fun of my

I was about to post the exact same thing. Thanks!

I think it would qualify as cyberbullying if someone was to send them harassing emails etc. As long as the person is over 18 (if that is what the site requires) then I think what they post publicly on the internet is pretty much public content.

When I first read your comment I thought you meant that you were featured on Nice Guys of OKC today. I was about to look you up. Haha

Strangers with Candy! I love you... now I know what I'll be doing after work tonight instead of going to the gym.

So, is there no Mrs. Jellineck?

Oh, my God, they've been... they've been zooming! You better not zoom that thing. Stop zooming, I mean it. If you can see any of my [basal keratinocytes] on camera, I swear, I'll kill you. Stop the tape! I do not have [basal keratinocytes]! My [basal keratinocytes] are cute! My [basal keratinocytes] are tiny! You're

I am so sorry. I hope you can see him again at some point. Do you have a link to him? (I mean someone that talks to his parents and to you).

I am sorry for your loss too. After all these years it's still tough. Manageable, but still difficult to handle the contrast of having that one person (and even taking them for granted at times) then knowing you're never going to have that again. I get envious of people with their one best friend too. Hell! sometimes

Thanks guys! It's sweet that people care.

My best friend died 8 years ago and I have not had another since. She was also my only female friend. Her loss was so devastating on so many levels. At first I was afraid to replace her, then I missed female companionship. I started an unhealthy pattern of becoming friends with girls who reminded me of her in some way

Haha! In that case they should have called it "Women who are worth it", just as bad and closer to their catchphrase which they should probably change anyway.

Haha! you could be, except my niece lives in London and is only three. Maybe there has been some alteration in the space-time continuum?

My niece who is now 3 has a book like that and I love it. It's called grandma and me or something so it has a picture of my mom too which I think is so cute especially since they live in different countries.

$15.95 for three balls of yarn?! That's stupidity!

So, just be naturally pretty? got it!

I decided the same thing you did, except I fell in love in high school. He was my first kiss and everything else. Things did not work out, we remain very close friends and hang out on a regular basis. We are both in long term relationships with other people. Though we are not interested in each other romantically
