People say that over here too. The only thing is we give enough money for a child to eat good quality food and replace clothes at reasonable intervals. Some (not all) of the people who take it are often found feeding the child from 'Iceland' (think budget overgrown freezer section of a cheaper Wallmart - the kind of

Lol. I feel I might have had a bit of a soapbox moment.

Bah. I'm not saying we need to get into 'isms' here. All I'm saying is that cutting benefits a little and funding industry a little more we might get somewhere (in 20 years time).

Hear hear. It's a sad state of affairs that we've cancelled, fecked out or ignored grass roots manufacturing and business in the UK whilst trying to directly drag up living standards for so long that the system is teetering. University is not for everyone, we need change a mindset.

Credit where it's due, although 5.0 was horrendous at first they seem to have mostly fixed it. The two issues I have left are that:

Look. Not to offtopic too far and I AM finally onboard with v5.0 but admins, "....If you can't see the poll try another browser..." - because you're probably using a strange combination of W7 and IE8?

Bah. We've been subject to ANPR in the UK for so long it's not even funny.
