As a man who stands on the banking of Maison Blanche every year behind Toyota hoping that it will be our year and who openly cried (read sobbed in a most in-masculine way) in 2016, I need this in my life. I just know I’ll never be able to afford it.

Nice article. If you guys are ever in the UK and fancy a run in my E34 540iT/6, give me a shout

Oh god. The majesty of the WEC is the magic that anything can (and does) happen. Less restrictive categories with more power? Sure. Cutting the hours? Please no. Also, you have to have a good number of races to give people outings for their very expensive cars but there are too many variants/categories now diluting

Wow. That stings.

Happy for them to ban new gas cars but they’ll have to prise my e34 540iT/6 from my cold dead hands.

As a man with a manual ‘95 E34 540iT (factory, natch), I approve this. Shame about the quilting and the wrap though!

By the time the event happened, John had taken a lot of money from the British government. Margaret Thatcher, under increasing pressure from the nationalised Jaguar/Rover/Triumph/Austin/Mini/MG purveyors “British Leyland” hadn’t seen a return on that investment and John had failed to find further external investment,

Just ordered it. You should grab a copy of the Nick Sutton book about the rise and fall of DMC. It’s an interesting read.

I sincerely hope this turns out to be an epic film. One that paints a story of a man that managed to unite a workforce mixed of Northern Irish and “Southern” Irish people and brought money, jobs and pride to the local area. I want to see the stories of those around him that pulled of an incredible short development

Blinking - dirty pins on bulb connectors. Try a “conductive pen” used liberally.

The top end E28 BMW had something similar. It had a triple resvoir. One did the headlights, one did standard windscreen and the third was for “intensive wash”. It had an “intensive wash relay” to make it all work and the aforementioned three way resevoir.

I had that with an E46. Turns out iwas that I was putting it away with a damp AC condensor (the one in the HVAC box in the dash). This in turn grew mould and reeked. There is a cleaner for it available at autoparts stores but I found it just happened again every couple of weeks. Then I sold it.

The last issue with the lack of “full-close” is a codeable feature. Basically, the ECU *will* do it, but BMW seemed to think that in litigious societies, it’s likely that some muppet will kill his dog/kids/wife or stick his penis in it or something. Thus it’s turned off by default.

I can’t say I’m surprised. I live in the UK and spend at least 2hrs on the road every day. I’m lucky if I see anything interesting even once a week.

Is this a glitch in the matrix? Don’t suppose you want to build a two seater LMP for the street based on the BMW n74 and a quafe transaxle?

How about they agree to hear it, bring them in, crush the living shit out of these dicks and then reward him by forcing them to pay his legal costs and damages?

That’s fair enough, your opinion. I just felt like it’d been made our of recycled flimsy dollar-store kids toys inside, and whilst it made a lot of noise, it went nowhere fast. That could have been the CVT though. However, I never wanted an SUV. In contrast, my mum’s IX35 felt slightly better put together but cost

Yeah. My insurer gave me an RX-450h whilst my F11 520d Touring (manual, natch) was being repaired after some old coot t-boned my wife. “Enterprise” even went so far as to tell me it was in their “luxury” class and the desk girl made cooing noises about it whilst telling me they’d “got it in specially” and how “nice”

But not for people in the UK. Apparently we’ve upset Universal and don’t deserve this.

Where does this leave UK consumers?
