Ever been on the motorway (freeway) behind a large truck and thought how much easier it would be if you could simply see in front of it? How about a HUD in your car that displayed a mini feed from a camera mounted in the car in front?

I’ve been designing the same car as a mental exercise for the past decade or so. Problem is that ideas come and go, and the goalposts shift regularly. The crux is always the same, a V12 MR with a paddleshift controlled sequential transaxle. A part of it has (for the last 5 or so years) been using regenerative braking…
Where do I start?
Aaaaaaaand now I’m stuck at my desk for the next 5-10 minutes as I can’t stand up without HR becoming involved. Thanks.
That’s not far different from the UK driving tests in terms of the automatic fails. I imagine it’s difficult but I’d rather be sharing the road with a bunch of people who’ve taken that than a bunch of people with Indian driving licenses (drive forward on an open expanse of concrete with no other cars, merge left, slow…
I NEED those stickers for my annual Le Mans stickering/visit. WHERE!?!?
And I’ve tears again. Thanks for the reminder. Biggest loss in motorsports history? Perhaps not. To me? Definitely.

Can one of the more enlightened Jalops tell me why I couldn't take a quad cam V8, swap the camshafts in the left & right bank (intake for exhaust), bolt a set of TBs to the 'ex'-exhaust ports and some custom exhaust manifolds to the 'ex'-intake ports? Space, money, time and skill aside?
That car is one of my mates' (his teammate to be specific). Great to see they're making a name for themselves this season.
I'll never forget driving up the motorway (I live in the UK) on my way into Wales. I'm cutting along at a decent chat, about 85mph IIRC in the outside lane, mid afternoon.
Is it "brown is acceptable, matt brown 'anti-radar' is worth 1,000,000 Jalopoints?
You sir, win. I was going to tell you that you win the INTERNETZ, but actually, I think you just straight win.
And men are incessantly given a bad name for 'objectifying' women. You stay classy, Jezebel.
Hey Matt, what's the chance we'll ever get something like this for the long suffering UK residents?
hey Travis! Fancy a beer? We're there every year and will be on Maison Blanche from Tuesday until Monday and I'd be delighted to provide beer at our encampment? Can provide the Brit point of view and some of the do not miss bits?
You used to be able to buy this sticker to replace the "golf club bags" diagram for the 7-Series
