Maybe they were looking at least efficient EVs in the most expensive electricity areas, and comparing that to a Prius in a cheap gas state.

Uh, what? This smells like bullshit to me.

My Chevy Bolt uses about 29Kwh to drive 100 miles.
I pay .25 per Kw to charge at home. That’s $7.25 for 100 miles.

My gas car gets about 22 mpg combined, for 100 miles that’s 4.5 gallons @ $4/gal = $18 in regular gas for 100 miles.

500$ was worth it, F anyone who complains about that glorious soundtrack!

Tesla has only no/no-go gauges. What they need are go/no-go gauges.

You mean to tell me that selling non-luxury cars at luxury car prices nets more profit?

I feel disgusting for having to agree with that piece of shit DeSantis but I actually agree with banning foreign entities from owning land / real estate within our boarders.
I’ve never heard a good reason for allowing this and as it stands there are so many vacant condo’s in Boston owned by foreigners as investments.

I can’t believe people are missing the point, saying that stuff like this is part of endurance racing like equipment (tyre, engine, etc.) failures. This is all down to how scummy Motorsports Games is and the fact that they have seemingly refused to fix rFactor 2's connection issues for years after buying out the devs.

His schtick (adolescent, ribald, sexist humor) was past its prime fifteen years ago.

Grosjean’s response makes no sense ... until you realize that he’s a paid endorser of MSG and rFactor

I’m pretty sure that the restaurant on the farm doesn’t have much of an effect either way on his finances.

I have a family member who is convinced that airlines are deliberately spraying us to spread chemical mind control substances and/or diseases. Hence COVID.

Wow, we already have three top-level comments defending the malfunctioning Tesla and blaming the other cars on the road.

I think we all enter into a contract when we’re operating vehicles on high speed, five lane highways in which we all agree not to come to an abrupt stop unless there’s some kind of imminent need to do so.

The Tesla cut into the left lane and braked suddenly. So while according to the letter of the law, the people rear-ending it were at fault, but realistically the Tesla caused the accident. This is at the entrance to the tunnel, so drivers have to adjust their eyes. Even a safe driver might not be able to stop in time.

You alluded to it in the last paragraph, but I thought I would expand on that point more. The entry fee itself isn’t the real point of contention, it is just the latest beach head in the war. None of which has anything to do with the actual quality of racing, of course. Thats Formula 1!

I don’t see the issue with this. GM didn’t design a SUV and it’s not an suv.

Every time there is a new high tech system to replace an older, fully developed one, there is a huge cost over run, a lot of accidents and a general feeling that “good grief, we have spent a fortune to get something that isn’t that much better than what we already have and it doesn’t work right.”

I had no idea that Raph was 77, or drove a Camry. He looks so much younger.
