For me, it was launch day :)
if the controller is wireless, but you’re cabling your headphones to your controller, the audio is still being transmitted over the air at some point of its journey from the console to your ears.
Even Raleway, a free Google Font, would have been a better choice as it’s basically Gotham, but with a neat
crossed-V design for the Wfucking VW logo that would have stood out.
enthusiasm that was only slightly diminished by the fact that Oshkosh Defense, which was awarded the mail truck contract, also makes machines of war.
I think that part of this is that - through experience - humans have learned to pick out signs of a bad/aggressive driver. If I see a moron driving like that rushing up on me, I’d probably move out of the lane if I had time or I would ease off the gas/tap the brakes when he goes to cut me off. Because I can see his…
Looks like the Tesla responded about the same way as a human who was only paying half-attention. Panic, jerk to the side, recover, continue. Agree - it worked. And the driver is a bag of dicks for camping there in the first place.
Or maybe that person just sucks ass at driving? He almost floored the thing while nearly at full lock with a garage 5 yards in front of him and a dropoff 5 yards to the right. Anyone with a brain knows not to do that.
But instead of making some cool electric cars, Porsche is considering a different option: clean-burning synthetic fuel.
blah blah blah are we getting a true Used Car dealership again? Real wheel choices? Bringing back the car wash?
Better funded or better managed? Our school system rakes in fucktons of money, but where it is actually spent is a different story.
They should be pedal power. Put the kids to work.
Is it really your argument that the Democratic Party is free from wasteful spending not related to taxation?
Ha! The idea that taxation is tied to spending is adorable though.
Now that the federal government is good again we don’t need to worry about accountability for our tax dollars we just need to pay more of them.
My problem with a gas tax is simple. It’s regressive. example at work:
This is effectively a punitive tax on the poor. Guess who can afford Teslas and new hybrids and stuff? Oh right, well-off people.
Without accountability this will go to waste. Washington has some of the highest gas taxes in the country and our roads are worse and worse every year and legitimately some of the worst in the nation. And my point isn’t that we shouldn’t pay gas taxes, but that it rarely goes where it is desperately needed.
(Full disclosure: This is a blog for people who are interested in paying taxes for a better society. If your idea of a good country is one with zero taxes, then please close this tab now, there’s nothing for you here.)
If you’re going to act with petulance, expect people to respond in kind.
