Most young people don’t have enough money to be profitable.  They can buy a used VW and wonder what it was like when all the buttons and switches worked.

5 years he might have to be responsible for it. 10 years is definitely someone else’s problem.

Every day I find fewer reasons to be a car enthusiast. This sounds like bullshit from bullshit sources, until you realize that new gasoline powered cars will probably be banned by 2035 anyway, so inevitably all of our favorite name plates will either go this way or go away. This does not interest me in the slightest,

Loud definitely equals fun, at least on a nice engine. Most of the reason I’d take the GT350 over the Mustang GT is due to how much better the former sounds.

Considering all cars from Ford are being called the Mustang, that is an easy feat.

And, oddly, a fast train is somehow now a major marker of that status...

In the US it just isn’t politically feasible take the land needed for the right of way.

This is what needs to be factory, and body colored.

They won’t believe you unless you put angry headlights on it.

I have, and it was slow to respond and doesn’t understand natural language. The only one I’d be willing to use (and tested in person last year) is Volvo/Polestar’s system with Google Assistant. Regardless, you shouldn’t need to rely on an assistant, and if you do then that speaks for itself how poorly the UX was

Am I the only one who thinks the term “Artificial Intelligence” is used a bit too liberally these days? Recognizing simple behavioral patterns is basically Microsoft Excel levels of “intelligence.”

Seems kinda silly to recreate the HVAC buttons on the screen... why not have real buttons then? I’m going to file this under “pointless, gimmicky gadgets.”

I become (perhaps irrationally) hostile when my phone or computer starts “recommending” things to me that I didn’t explicitly ask for.

Well, it is Japan; I’m guessing that it ends with a robot having sex with an underage catgirl in a school uniform.

You do know it costs exactly the same electricity to charge your removable batteries, right? Dual shocks just stop charging when they’re full.
