Have you seen anything to indicate the future will not be depressing?

It’s Ford. I 100% expect this is what will happen.
What you’re saying is that I should save you a seat at Barrett-Jackson in 2042 so we can both bid on a mint 2018 Mustang GT Premium with the original window sticker?
“Man who wrote book about topic starts internet drama over someone else’s conflict of interest, fails to see how doing so exacerbates his own conflict of interest. News at 11.”
I saw an M8 over the weekend. It had 4 doors. That’s the last straw, BMW.
Pretty much. This wing is hideous. The first time I saw a Vette with one I wondered why anyone would buy a brand new C8 and then go out and find the cheapest, flimsiest-looking non-matching wing they could find.
That’s so much better than this hideous “high-mount wing” contraption.
Which means it would be right up DaimlerFiatPeugotChrysler’s alley.
I wasn’t suggesting Fiat would get the axe. Sure, their sales in the US market suck, but globally they’re enormous. Same with Alfa, to an extent. They have a lot of other brands that are superfluous, though, or that could be rolled under another brand for the regions they exist in.
Dodge is most certainly not heading towards death, as long as they have the Charger and Challenger. Of course, it’s possible they could just roll them under Ram or Jeep. Crazier things have happened.
I’m already halfway there, and I share many of their behaviors. I know how this ends.
As you get older you stop caring what the youngins think about you, so you just do whatever you want. It would aggravate me, too (I generally dislike old people and their behavior), but it’s also pretty funny.
Pretty sure they’re not allowed on any roads in the US. You could probably ride one around your neighborhood, but in reality they’re supposed to be driven on sidewalks, not streets.
Sorry, I thought it was pretty clear that was a joke.
But won’t the engine take up most of the rear seat space?
Counterpoint: Urus does not get a pass because it’s the sorriest piece of badge-engineered BS since the mid-90s GM W-bodies.
This. But maybe what he means is you should hide in your house and never leave for any reason. Which if that’s what people have been doing this entire time no wonder they’re going psycho on the internet.
This. I don’t know if people just got used to having less people on the road or what, but I’ve never see so many people running red lights. And I mean lights that have been red for a while and traffic is already stopped. Doesn’t surprise me deaths are up.
That actually made me laugh when I saw it. Especially the designer thinking he came up with some awesome new idea of having permanent controls on the screen. Nah, dude, we’ve had those since the beginning of the car, and the crazy part is we used to actually be able to use them without looking at them!
I have, it was one of the most annoying features I’ve ever experienced in a car for two main reasons. First, I was talking to my friend about the car, and every time anyone said “mercedes” it would respond asking what we wanted. Annoying, but maybe that can be fixed in the setup? Reason 2 is the same reason all of…
