I’m sorry, how did that answer my question to the OP?

So are you saying that Jalopnik should NOT write about a brand new car’s roof flying off, or are you saying they shouldn’t ask the manufacturer for a comment?

Found the person who got so upset he didn’t read the rest of the guy’s comment!

I’ve never seen a normal person driving a BRZ normally.

Sorry, but what does Nissan have to do with the BRZ?

Because Chrysler museum?

Don’t you love how the kids will open the doors, look through it for a full minute, change their mind and open the freezer while leaving the doors open, then wander off to do something else and forget the fridge was ever open? Just warms my heart.

2 adults and 5 kids and you’re making it work with only 1 fridge?  I’ve got 2 fridges and a chest freezer and they’re all mostly full, that’s with 2 less people than you!

Yeah, I tried reading this on my phone (which is really my main go-to when not at work) and it failed too many times for me to finish.  This site really is almost unusable on phones, which means they lose out on a lot of my weekend/evening browsing.

Again, it depends on how good the tech is.  A/C is kind of a different animal, but the same principle applies.  At least most service companies will do a good enough job that it should last through the warranty period, and they’ll typically try to replace as much as they can get away with anyway because they make more

Yes, yes it is.  Same goes for A/C, most of the techs are either lazy or are encouraged to sell you as much as possible, even if all you need is a capacitor.  It’s a pretty toxic industry on the service side.

Car-hipsters

Yeah, there’s a lot that can cause cooling/freezing issues, but unless you get a good tech they’ll just shrug and replace everything.

Gotcha, pretty sure I know who that was. Whew, not one of ours at least!

Gotcha.  Not to throw shade on anyone, but I’m really curious to know what compressor was in it originally, or at least the fridge brand since I actually work for a compressor company.

Honestly, as soon as they replace the compressor you should sell it.  The issue is most service guys don’t pull a vacuum, so you’ve got moisture and dead compressor crap in there from the first time it went out (which was most likely just a leak in actuality).  Essentially once a fridge has a compressor replaced

My guess is that it’s more to do with the pass taking all of 2 seconds to complete, and it taking 5 seconds to say “and Verstappen now making the pass on Bottas for 2nd position”.  I haven’t noticed a major issue.

I applaud Toyota for going out and actually building the straight six sportscar we wanted

It doesn’t help that Hydrox sounds like a cleaning product.

And which one do you think is more likely from Nissan?
