Don’t you know mid-engine cars are the best at drifting? They’re just so easy to get rotating and then stop once they start.

I’m aware Spider-Man has been in the Avengers in the past, but that’s not what he is most known for. Also one of the reasons he’s the most popular is because of his standalone movies published by... Sony.

Rather than competing on a level ground and creating a better product, they’re spending money to make sure someone else’s product is artificially denied content it would otherwise have.

Oh, you have inside information on this?  Considering he won’t be ready until a few months after launch I’d say the content is NOT there.

Only that’s categorically false.  Spider-Man will be post-launch content, he’s not available at launch.

Because this is an Avengers game that is ostensibly not tied to the MCU?  Prior to the announcement I didn’t have any expectation that you’d be able to play as Spider-Man, but I guess I’m the odd one out (which I fully admit is possible or even likely).

Could be, which I can understand would be a crappy thing to do, but really not surprising.

Honestly?  The first one.  Otherwise Spider-Man would be in the game at launch, wouldn’t he?  Also, isn’t that the developer/publisher’s fault for agreeing to hold back on it for cash?

I guess you didn’t read the rest of my comment?  To me it depends on the circumstances.  If Sony paid extra to have them develop Spider-Man content for the Playstation, I don’t see anything wrong with that.  If they came afterwards and threw money to lock down some post-launch DLC, it’s a little crappy but the

The most popular Avenger? Maybe for you, but when most people think of Avengers they think of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow. Spider-Man is typically more of a stand-alone character, and even in the MCU his appearances were closer to a cameo than truly being part of the Avengers.

Could be, or it could be Sony gave them money to develop potential content they hadn’t decided on yet. If the content existed and was planned to be part of the launch game and Sony came along and paid for exclusivity then that does suck, but that’s clearly not the case here as it’s not coming until well after launch.

How is this anti-consumer? Let’s look at it another way: if Sony didn’t pay the developer to make exclusive content, that content wouldn’t exist for anyone. Would you rather have nobody be able to use Spider-Man or the largest playerbase be able to use Spider-Man? I see this more as a reward to their consumers that

I guess I’m in the minority here, but if a company that I bought a console from, bought games from, and buy an annual subscription to their service wants to pay a developer for their time to put in some extra content as a reward for me buying the game on their device, I have no issue with that.  Also, doesn’t Sony own

The biggest issue for me is that while I’d be happy to not have Trump as president, that would mean we would have Biden as president, and as much as I dislike Trump as a human being I have no faith that Biden would do a better job of actually running a country.  Maybe if he picks a competent VP that he can let call

Well yeah, that was the general tone of the article.

It’s pretty clear to me that this guy did hit something, probably while backing up with his wheel turned to the right. Regardless of that, though, there’s no way the structural A-arm should just yank apart like it did, it looks like a tension break. You would think that something else in the suspension would give way

It is indeed pretty ridiculous on mobile.  I’ve had to give up on articles halfway through because they wouldn’t stop reloading the page, then I’d have to scroll back down while the page tries to load again, then there’s a video blocking half the screen that sticks around even after you scroll past it, then the ads

This is my only issue.  My GTO idles in 1st at about 7-8mph, which is always 1mph faster than traffic is actually going.  Still, it’s more interesting than just holding your foot on the brake pedal the whole time.

I live north of Atlanta and drive a manual. I avoid driving downtown at all costs. I typically only pass through on my way to the airport, and when I do I try to time my flights to avoid rush hour.

In theory, yes. Don’t ask me how people game the system, but I can assure you they do, as I know plenty of people who are sitting at home collecting unemployment when positions are available for them.
