As I sit at my desk, I am the only person in the office, which typically has 35-40 people in it. It’s been this way for months now, although I was able to work from home some previously. I fully admit I could be wrong, but I’m really not worried about catching Covid. I have good hygiene, wash my hands regularly…
The US has been paying out $2400/month ($600/week) to everyone on unemployment for the last few months. It’s why you have so many people not showing up for work, and why you had so many people with nothing to do but start trouble all summer.
This is an interesting one. GM workers in its Wentzville, Missouri plant are not showing up for work for fear of being exposed to COVID.
I understand why they did it too, but I still think delaying it was the wrong decision. Especially with the limited budget next year, everyone is spending all their time and energy on their car for 2 years from now which means boring racing for the next 2 years (well, 1.5).
Mercedes (and everyone else’s) car will be illegal in 2022 considering the complete overhaul of the basic car designs taking place. I’m just upset they pushed it back a year.
There are 2 pictures of Saturns, hence the “which”. Just making a joke.
...which Saturn?
Same, but I also don’t ever plan on selling my cars unless they’re completely broken, at which point service records are irrelevant.
I drive the car in the header picture (although a 2005, not 2004), 141k miles and going strong. My wife also drives a 2005 Yukon, also trouble-free mechanically other than knock sensors and a worn out U-joint. Honestly for me anything from 2000-2010 is the sweet spot for power, mileage, reliability, and none of the…
Yes, Americans definitely don’t want large, luxurious comfortable cruisers. That’s not at all in our ethos.
Poor Cadillac. I love their performance models, but unfortunately there are just too many established players with better badges so they’ll never win sales that way. Hopefully they go the ultra-comfort/luxury route with these new models (like Lincoln has done), as the only players there are Lincoln, Lexus, and maybe…
Why were you shocked that a woman would like an SUV designed to be attractive to women?
Oh, good! Nissan has been aggressively updating their entire lineup with brand new platforms and vehicles over the past few years, so it’s about time they update the last piece of the puzzle. All is well with the world, now.
True, but people do tons of stuff to their Jeeps that they don’t need.
Jeeps are toys. People like V8s in their toys.
I’m down with this. Plus you could fit a lot more weapons and suspects in the back of a Transit.
Right, which is why when I’m actually buying a tool I want rather than an emergency purchase I make sure to look very closely at the tool. I’ve found Milwaukee seems to actually make some very good hand tools now, I’ve been impressed with their quality and design. Fortunately most of my tools are older Craftsman…
I’d only buy them to use as pry bars or chisels. Don’t want to mess up my trusty old Craftsman set.
Yeah, I’ve got a buddy who absolutely loves HF. I sent this to him and he said that every one of his jackstands and jacks were HF. I’d be fine buying screwdrivers and twist ties from HF if there were one close to me (closest is 40 minutes away), but never something to keep me from dying.
