I just watched the Keepers recently on Netflix. I think I can put together why.

What’s awkward about the motion controls in BotW? I think the only quirk I’ve run into was having to turn them off when flying because the movement of the plane was enough to throw off an otherwise perfect shot.

I don’t get this really. Why is it called New Donk City (you know after the giant tie wearing gorilla) without apes walking the streets?

They are actually the first one to do a “modern” open world platforming game.

If you didn’t enjoy Super Mario 64 I don’t know what to tell you. That game is the baseline for all their 3D Marios with the exception of Super Mario 3D World.

Omg, you should get a Wii for Galaxy 1 and 2 alone. They were amazing.

No one’s complaining because motion controls are optional why complain about something you don’t need to use?

How dare you. Galaxy 2 is the pinnacle of gaming. Nothing will ever be better than that.

You can throw the hat with Y. Not sure about the circle move or some of the other little flourishes you can do.

What? to the hell with the kiddos, I’m going to play the hell outta of Mario Odyssey first and then maybe MAYBE I will let them play it a bit.

Finally, Mario can marry Bowser and fulfil Peach’s matchmaking dreams.

Nintendo is doing some cool stuff with open worlds. This game looks crazy and fun, and the mini levels scattered around the open world look great. They brought up Super Mario Sunshine a lot when discussing this game and I can definitely see the similarities.

I absolutely loved the Galaxy games and even the “New” series of games but it looks like we’re getting something similar to Mario 64 and Sunshine and I couldn’t be happier about that.
