I liked your response but thing is, regarding Zimmerman, I feel like he was spoiling for a reason to shoot someone. Attributing race as the reason takes away from this dude's weird Tackleberry complex. He was a loser. A reject who was begging for a chance to use his super week gun on neighborhood watch. Did he

Im obviously in the minority but I thought she did a great job. Se came off as authentic and outraged and annoyed. She had a right to all of those. I feel like prosecution must've calculated this. But she never came across as incredible. I didn't watch entire testimony though. Over-coaching her would've been a

I have the same reaction to inability to slip into something approaching reasonable English in a formal setting like court but I'm a lawyer and occasionally have to show up in court and it's astounding that she's more reflective of the norm and not exception. This isn't a race-thing either. it's a social class-thing.

Maybe I'm conflating the thriving British tabloid business with celeb gossip. But I think they're the best at it. I dunno. Think: Piers Morgan.

This feels weird. It was an honest retrospective to someone the author clearly holds in high regarchoice word choices like "aloof" and saying he had "little interaction" made it confusing and I think undermined the author's intention.

Isn't this the same lawyer whose opening statement included a knock-knock joke? #galacticallystupidopenngstatementslol

Great comments today. Eldrich chastened me but you empowered me again Or at least made me less self-conscious.

Thanks for this. I have to admit that I've been unnecessarily antagonistic about Zimmerman. He just repels me as a human being. Someone with a cop complex playing vigilante. I think that's indisputable. But you're right. My commentary isn't helpful from a criminal or social justice perspective.

Wait, "mum and dad" are you from the UK, Anna? Please say, yes?

So the cops knew Hernandez was involved b/c of the car stuff, rt? The other two were a mystery to them without Hernandez. Soooo. . .now that the other two have been arrested is it safe to assume that Hernandez is diming them out? Phone records wouldn't seem sufficient for arrest warrant here. Any law enforcement

think this might be her crossing the line.

for some reason, I get the feeling that she's been encouraged to posture this way. She comes off as exceedingly authentic as a witness. Her contempt for Zimmerman, his defenders (attys) is real and she's not hiding it. She may come off difficult to like but she's definitely relatable. The pieces I've seen she's been

Given his willingness to contrive fake news stories, is it possible that Snyder orchestrated/perpetuated the recent dust-up over the Indian angle just so he might cast his lot more with the red meat eating fans? I mean, this seems to come up every few years but Snyder's going out of his way to insert himself into the

Sunscreen?

She did say, "sir" so maybe still respectful.

I give her credit for pursuing something she felt strongly about. Legally, affirmative action will undoubtedly be abolished. Her case was compelling enough that the justices agreed to hear it. That's a pretty big deal. She didn't get into UT but is obviously smart enough that she had to have a sense of the scorn her

They were prettwe awesome . Do the right thing Ds. I dunno shot about hockey but they did it I'm 6 gameS.

Dude, he referenced his dad as public figure. He could've waited til actual date for that. He was trying to score points from it. Fair game.

Not that they need my opinion but he invited it. He put down what he thought would represent him the best in the eyes of potential suitress. Not even a question. Opportunist lives by the sword. Opportunist dies by the sword. Unless he's not 18.

I dunno what truth of his deal was in Hampton Roads but he became a lighting rod at young age. i don't wanna overstate what he was to people but the culmination of politics/social issues/ sports. Complicated. He's not perfect but he shouldn't wear the jacket he seems to be forcing on himself.
