I said elsewhere, I think Icicle was thinking of having a ‘normal life’ with Barbara, which is why he was hesitant to act against Stargirl when he found it it was Courtney. But once he saw she looked into a story involving his other side, he knew it couldn’t happen and screw them all... if there was a dog, he’d kick

I think it was more like “Kill Bill”, when the daughter saw her mother killed... while The Bride let her live knowing she’d one day come for revenge, Icicle wanted to cut that off right then and there.

Thinking further (and watching parts of it over), my own stray observations:

Maaaaaaannnn, now I’m missing enlisted.

Heck, he made The Finder somewhat enjoyable... he’s one of those actors I always seem to enjoy.

Not sure if anyone else felt this, but yes, with the casting of Geoff Stults, I was expecting some twist with Courtney’s dad. And he got her locket and heads out of town, which lined up with the staff not working, I was starting to think if the locket was kind of like a FOB the staff responds to, and maybe Sam knew

Ok... rushed to this as the credits were rolling to scream “best episode!” As I read, I calmed down. Still really, really enjoyed this, but in that time I processed a few things.
- Yes to giving Amy Smart more to do.
- I’ve always enjoyed Luke Wilson, but this may be one of my favorite roles. Some might be it is the

I am enjoying the show, but the dialogue this ep and portrayal of Henry Jr. are lacking. I haven’t decided yet on it being the actor’s portrayal, or if the script is giving him nothing to work with, but with Courtney’s dialogue with him, I’ll lean on the later for now.
“I can’t read your mind... but I can see that you

I understand the disliking of Mike overall through the series so far. They’ve not done enough to really develop the character. This ep helped a little bit towards that.
But I have to give credit to the casting; franly, Mike really does feel like a tiny version of Pat/Luke Wilson.

Loved Dead Again.

Didn’t seem to be that big a controversy, certainly hasn’t heard of it except for this post, versus the JK Rowling tweets. Which makes me wonder what the point of this “story” is.

I think he’s only off in the sense that he’s taking the possible outcome way far down the road. We cannot defeat White Supremacy without

“Why can’t I meet your parents? Are you embarassed of me?”

Now playing

Sure, there is a lot to Airport ‘75 that we got parodied in Airplane! But it always makes me think of the Carol Burnett Show parody, Disaster ‘75. The first thing I think of is the pilot not being winched down from another plane, but by bouncing on a trampoline up to the plane.  (posting first of 2 parts)

It’s but supposed this might have been mocking people who use the system, but as he hasn’t said anything yet, I’ll wait to decide. But a couple points on this:

1) “Emotional Support” is not a category in the ADA. It has no official status, and all these places you can “register” an emotional support animal are just

Loved his reading on “So it may be powerful enough to stop a god... which... is something we’re doing now.”

The problem is that this is a tough thing to explain in a couple words. It’s enrollment time for my health insurance, so what I’m looking at as a single man, no other dependents, is $70/pay check for a Silver plan. My company matches that, so that’s $140 per paycheck being paid for my insurance. If the plan is that

The thing I love about this movie is that in the end, they both learn. We’ve almost exclusively seen Tom and his wallowing leading to growth and such. But in the scene at the end where they run into each other, they’ve both grown, and it is shown... You can criticize the movie being Tom-centric, but in a film about 2

There is a sports reporter in Baltimore named Gerry Sandusky, so he got the same treatment when Jerry Sandusky went down for his crimes.

But I also worked with a guy who got arrested for child porn charges. The thing was, in the SAME company, in the SAME job title (and one where media appearances are made), there was

Only time I missed a flight was going from Jacksonville to Sweden to bury my grandmother. I generally worked nights, it was an early flight. I was there, checked in, saw the plane pull up... and conked out in the chair. I woke to see the plane pushing back. I jumped up and went to the counter 15 feet away and asked if

I liked it, but I often appreciate what I call the ‘piece setting’ episodes on series, where they are just moving pieces without a lot of real drama into position for a later event, like in chess.

There are now only 4 episodes left. They have to deal with the White Walkers, which I suspect will be done in the next
