So the notion that Steve would be protective of Bucky because they grew up essentially as brothers and that Bucky is literally the only person alive from Steve’s previous life doesn’t carry any weight with you? His connection to HAS to be romantic?

Right. Like the idea of “brother from another mother” isn’t a thing.
For the sake of Amber’s health, I would hope they’d go with the suit.
Archer would probably be the only person they’d have to recast. And maybe Amber Nash (Pam).
Its funny, I think I qualify as a smark, but sometimes I wish I didn’t. The other night when Styles turned on Cena, I couldn’t help but think about all the ways in which it works. Someone new for John! Keeps AJ in a prime role without having him chase the belt! A legit TNA vs. WWE angle! Meanwhile, my 8-yea-old is…
Fair enough. I think that generally misses the appeal of pro wrestling and pro wrestling video games. Its about the suspension of disbelief, and I think that gets lost if you’re focused on the mechanics of storytelling.
That would kind of be like a game based on an action movie, but instead of playing out scenes from the movie, you play out moments like the table read, sitting in makeup for three hours, and fighting with people in mo cap suits.
Yes. He was getting laid. Its unfair to expect a 16 year old boy to understand her trauma and how that made her ill-equipped to make a rational decision.
I don’t see how its fair or particularly productive to arrest any of these kids. If the girl did in fact consent to this, as gross as it is, then what are we charging the boys with? If the traumas she’s suffered in the past play a part in this at all, I would think it would lead to more blame for the adults involved…
That Walking Dead casting call is screaming for Eamonn Walker.
Wow...who would have thought that Dwight Howard would be an overthinker? Between this and his conflict over smiling/not-smiling, sounds like he spends a ton of time deep in his own head.
I mean, other than that awful Van Gundy press conference, what other examples do we have of Dwight being a pathological liar?
Slim Charles.
No. But what about the other two? They came into with championship pedigree. Their first year, Okafor was ROY, and Gordon was Sixth Man. Has either guy had a significant moment in the league since?
I agree that they don’t HAVE to take themselves so seriously, but they always have. So it would be jarring to drop a character like Deadpool into that universe. And what you’re saying what Singer’s saying, that you’d have to be careful about how you do it. You’d have to scale him back and not let him dominate things…
No, he’s right. X-men is still ridiculous, but the films take themselves very seriously. You’d have to eliminate a lot of what makes Deadpool unique (no breaking the 4th wall) and limit his interaction with other characters. Otherwise, you risk invalidating the rest of the movie.
My favorite moment of the ep was when The Riddler while climbing through the air ducts to break out of prison, runs into Catwoman, who’s crawling through the ducts to break in. I missed most of dialogue because I was laughing so hard.
I scrolled through some of this yesterday, and I was surprised (horrified?) how often the word “cuck” showed up. Like, there is still a decent amount of white guys obsessed with the idea of white women being taken by black men.
He slaughtered it. I felt like Cheryl Tunt, giggling and clapping as he just kicked people in the face. The irony is, the “my nigga” was probably the only moment in the whole speech that could be considered sweet.
Unwatchable? This is an odd opinion. We haven’t had a major protagonist die since the red wedding, unless we’re counting Tywin and Shae as people we should have cared about. And The Starks were split up almost immediately.
