I always liked Scooby, not because I thought the mysteries were all that interesting, I just always liked the idea of just cruising around in a van with your homies. That’s why I always hated the iterations where it’d only be Scooby, Shaggy and Velma, or Scooby, Shaggy and Daphne. I liked the whole crew.

But this wasn’t held up by the bureaucracy or inefficiency of government, like you’re suggesting. This was held up by Cops and city officials attempting to sabotage the investigation. Lying and suppressing evidence. That’s not bureaucracy. That’s corruption. Everyone should be angry.

I don’t even know what you just did, but I enjoyed it immensely. +1.

Except if the officials make the right call, they probably win the game.

I’m sure most of these are bookmarked on Snyder’s laptop.

I need to know what’s happening with Lowe and Shoemaker. Both their articles and their podcasts. This stinks.

If the company that’s producing/distributing the game don’t want it in the game, that’s not censorship. That’s editing.

Lowe is LITERALLY half the reason I read Grantland, with the other half being Shoemaker. Hadn’t even noticed that Zach had gone dark.

I love the Bourne movies. The first three at least. I was pulling for “Legacy” because I like Renner and Weisz, but...yeah, it didn’t really work out. I’ll take these over the FF series, though I appreciate how ridiculously fun the latter series is. The last two MI flicks have been spectacular, But MI 2 was awful, and

The best part is when the guy asks him about remorse and, oblivious dickhead that he is, Hardy thinks he’s asking if he’s sorry about missing games. Not about the whole “smacking his girlfriend” around thing.

The issue with the NBA isn’t that the regular season doesn’t matter. The regular season determines seeding, and seeding does matter. The issue is that the first round of the playoffs don’t matter. Teams 5-8 in each conference don’t really stand a chance.

With the exception of Chavo, all of the other guys you mentioned ended pretty in WWE. all of them won either the WHC or the WWE championship, with Jericho becoming the first guy to win both.

This is a dopey thing to say. People credit God on TV after games all the time. Why would anyone believe that ESPN was trying to censor him?

Smith’s whole argument here is, “I didn’t say I spoke to someone who actually knew anything. But I did speak to someone.” Asshole.

The thing that kills me about the “Harper deserved it because he’s a jerk” rationale is that Papelbon, even before this, rates so much higher than Bryce on the dickhead scale. I can’t believe people are ready to portray a gump like Pap as the hard-nosed vet just because they’ve got a bug up their ass about Bryce.

I got that impression too. There’s still some lingering bitterness. Not at any person in particular, just the situation. He has a right to be. He was the last Washington QB to have any sustained success, and even around here he’s treated like nothing but a massive ego with a gimpy leg.

Season 1 was some of the best TV in recent memory. The whole “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” arc was a lot of fun. Everything after the season 1 finale was sadness. Peter and Sylar got too powerful. they kept finding lame excuses to keep Ali Larter’s pretty self on the show (understandable, but still). And the

I believe that was the original plan, to have a new cast each season. But the original group got so popular, NBC didn’t want to change them.

He’s a soulless ghoul. His failure excites me almost as much as Giuliani’s.

As thrilled as I am for Viola, Regina King...goddamn. GODDAMN. She’s been busting her ass for 30 years and has been routinely doing great work. She was the best actor in several of John Singleton’s early movies. She’s the only character in Jerry Maguire that seems like a real human being. And she was brilliant on
