Ugh. OK. Now I kind of like her. I always thought she seemed a bit snotty, but that is pretty cool.

I was just thinking of how I would react to a proposal. I'm straight/cis female, but I don't give a crap about marriage, I'm at least a little opposed to it just based on principle, but also I'm really lazy and don't like paperwork.
I suppose I wouldn't mind being proposed to in a traditional form, but my reaction…
Something I said was untrue. Nothing is always true.
Just assume everyone is lying all the time. The only possible way someone is telling the truth is if they are talking about something that is not important. If they are trying to convince of something or get you to do something though, they are probably lying. Everyone. All the time. True story!
Except, not really.
I think they have done a good job in the last year or so of really pointing out how the defense tears apart the victim, and how society shames the victim.
They've had some victims lately that had done some questionable things prior to being raped, and acknowledged that while it may make it harder to get a conviction…
Side note: have you seen an episode of That 70s Show recently?
I live in Kansas. I'm pretty sure the reason Gail Finney introduced this bill is because there have been a lot of cases where families have been torn apart by the Department of Children and Families, and the kids put up for foster care and adoption by Faith Builders—a shady organization, that was really focused on…
Glad I'm not the only one who thought of this. I think the two acts are clearly related. I think this is a sad story. She turned out to be an awful person that killed someone, but I think the story leading up to that is really sad. The way her dad talks about her is sad too.
I like this!
We must help these cars. I can store 2 safe and secure. I'm sure my dad can come up with space for a few more.
I think she's ok with it.
I love Kai's voice!
I don't think I am misunderstanding, I get what you mean, but I really think they are just trying to justify being assholes about Lena Dunham. They are being assholes here, they don't have to be. The defense they have provided is bs. I'm not oversimplifying, it is very simple to begin with.
I think the meaning of a word is less important than the actions of a person. Do not commit actions that render you to be a dick.
I follow her on twitter, and I generally like her. Obviously, she has her flaws-but so do we all.
Semantics. How about: don't be a dick. I think that is a good rule. And standing up to bullies is not unkind or mean. Obviously.
Re: #1, absolutely
Good point. You can be critical and still nice! I think it is called constructive criticism? :)
Dig your heels in.
