Hope you never have to find the Delta Shuttle terminal. The only sign is completely obscured by trees.

I agree. Whenever I go home to visit my parents, they first thing they say when I get in the car is "We HATE this airport." Then they won't let me talk to them for 5 minutes, until we actually get out of the airport and onto the highway.

I fly O'Hare every week and never have a problem. There are plenty of airports with long sprints (Charlotte and Minneapolis are particularly bad).

If the way the ATS looks is any indication, it will look fantastic.

Why not just use a picture of a Tangerine Scream Focus ST?

Toyota/Jalopnik today: "THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CARS!"

Seriously? He just came out and said "His uncle is our boss and told us to crack down on bikers" to a guy wearing a camera? He could just say "Because of the NYC thing, they're cracking down more on bikers, just a heads up," and avoid any controversy.

"It's adding weight, cost, and complexity to a problem that never really existed."

I think the reason is pretty simple: most rental cars are driven by business travelers who aren't paying for their own gas.

Trust me, the rental-spec 2013 Civic sedan was very little POWAH to give. Also, when you're in a state where 10 over equals a mandatory court appearance and the car has out of state plates, I was quite happy keeping the trees green.

The best answer here.

I always thought this was stupid, but after driving a new Civic as a rental car one week, I think it can be useful. It definitely made me more aware of how much I was pressing the gas unnecessarily when cruising on the highway.

Maybe they're not for everybody, but power doors/liftgates are definitely useful when you're carrying a lot of stuff or have a bunch of kids to carry around. Remember who the target market is.

"I want to be able to get out of the car in case there is a fire"

Considering how much they look at their computers while driving, moving the screen even further off center than usual is a recipe for disaster.

I'm no expert, but I think a combination of both. If we were involved in World War III, then maybe the SEALs would be reserved for ocean duty. But when you're involved in a major conflict, you're not just going to let your top-tier operators sit around wait.

Like...for drivebys?

The SEALs have actually been one of the main Special Forces groups in Afghanistan. While the sea part may be their specialty, U.S. SF groups can pretty much do it all.
