I don't mean to be a hater, but so many of these replies are totally off base. Look at the current cars that are climbing in value: e30s, NSX, air cooled Porsches. They are all cars that teens and 20 somethings yearned for when they were new, but could not afford. I'm sorry, but no one out there is going to drop

So many NA miatas...

Do it the right way if you need brighter lights. Retro fitting projectors into your housing is totally possible, and while more expensive, you'll get better light output and won't blind everyone on the road

I would think most jalops spend much less than that. I'm 28 and own 3 cars just for myself at the moment, but the combined price was less than 10k.

Try to get behind the wheel of one, they are sublime. A bit heavier than ideal, but still great. I don't own one, and doubt I ever will as the prices are just going to keep going up and up

Are you talking about the 1m coupe? I hope you are kidding, because that is the best BMW since the e46 m3...

I had a fuckhead in NYC do the same thing to me, zoomed off for me to find a nice ding and paint transfer in my otherwise clean e30...needless to say I was pissed

Being dumb is one thing, but I wouldn't wish an accident like that on anyone

I have to second this. I went to my first autocross last weekend with the NY chapter of the CCA and every person I met was super friendly and more than happy to help a newbie like me out.

$2500 is a deal for this car if there are no surprises. You can spend $1500 on all of the necessary parts for the 5 speed swap, including a rebuilt getrag 5 speed and have a very nice e30 to cruise around in. You could also always go the budget route and get used 5 speed swap parts for $500 or so.

Yep, kind of insane but people want what they can't have. Now that the cars are 25 years old they will be easier to import and register in the USA but I think they will always command more money than the 2/4 doors

And the RSX was a weak attempt at an Integra buddy. I'm not comparing this new thing to an RSX

Tourings in decent shape are fetching $15-20k these days. I'm sure the price will drop a bit as they are now legal to import though

It would also need to lose a few hundred pounds, include a 5 speed with an LSD and bring back the god damn IRS. Honda's golden age was now almost 20 years ago. They made economical, cheap to own & maintain cars that were actually quite fun to drive. I'd take a day behind the wheel of a base 1995 civic over a base

You europeans are so spoiled! You don't even want to know how much a semi-clean touring goes for here in the states.

You win the coolest guy prize for the day. Post a build thread if you've got one. I take it you are in the EU?

The real questions is, why he hell do you street park a vantage??

Well perhaps we can dream that the track car has the same motor! Regardless, this is one of my favorite e30 pictures floating around the web

Although I have a feeling that touring might have an engine swap, as it does have a 5 lug suspension, this picture is too great not to share

This, this, this! I can't stand early model e30s unless they have euro bumpers
