You ought to try the ‘oriental’ (or rather, middle-eastern) food shops: Lebanese, Syrian, that sort of shop. Guarateed to stock it.

Any Greek foods store should carry Tahini. If not, ask them to order for you.

The kosher section of the grocery store. Here in Atlanta, it runs about $5-7 for a sizable jar.

Amazon:

I’ve seen it at the Trader Joe’s in Queen Anne, but compared to the super cheap (and delicious) stuff I would occasionally pick up in Queens, it didn’t seem particularly inexpensive.

Most supermarkets carry it, but sometimes it’s in odd places like the cheese section. Otherwise most health food stores / Trader Joes / Whole Foods will definitely have it. And if you have Amazon Prime you can sometimes get a decent deal on discounted 2-packs.

Tahini is pretty easy to find. I think I got my last jar at Safeway (a big, chain grocery in Denver). If not there, Whole Foods or Sprouts or Trader Joe’s will have it.

Looks like Mr. Rodgers

The tagline on copies of the "Foundation" trilogy that I read as a child was: "The galaxy reverts to barbarism", or something like that.

I have never heard this. I am adding it to my quote wall.

Honestly, you're still susceptible to other genotypes. There's a reason the flu shots have multiple target proteins and have to be updated yearly. For example, if the flu you had gotten over was H2N3, you're still susceptible to H1N1 or anything that is not H2N3. There is 'some' cross-protectivity between different

I'm usually one of those people: "I never get the flu so why bother". 36 and only had the flu once in my life. I was actually planning on getting the shot this year, though. My office-mate has severe asthma and COPD and getting the flu could actually kill her. But one thing or another got in the way and I never got

Hi Nico, there are also other people who actually cannot get the flu shot because they are immunocompromised. So lets say Grandpa Joe is unable to get a flu shot because they are in the middle of chemotherapy to treat the cancer they are already battling.

I just get questioned about A and B, and it's my go-to. explanation. The Giz had a good article about the vaccine last week or so and didn't want to rehash info from that post.
