The Leaf is the first truly mainstream ev, it’s worldwide figures are well ahead. I’m not arguing it’s better, just saying it’s what the world is buying as mainstream ev.

To the end of the street, sure...but then you have to recharge for an hour to get to the next street over.

What you guys call “trucks” we call Utes down here, as well as the old Falcon/Holden Utes. Both types have a tray/bed “utility” thing on the back.

The correct answer is a black and white 1974 Dodge sedan with Illinois plates.

Jeez I wonder if it will use the a carbon tub and the a twin turbo V8 based on an old Nissan design

One thing I’ve always been curious about is what is in McDonald’s meat in the US - here it’s touted as 100% pure beef (and 100% Hoki in the FiletOFish), but every comment whenever it comes up seems to be about how McD’s meat is full of “other stuff” etc. Is this an actual thing, or just one of those urban legends?

That side profile view shows how much they copied other designs for this model, whereas traditionally the Corvette had its own look.

Bed size is disappointing, and Musk was touting a much higher towing capacity.

Except that the compromises made in the name of “futuristic mega coolness” balance out any positives. The sides of the bed make it a pain in the ass for actual use. The tailgate/bed corners are going to make it a pain in the ass for actual use. The bed size isn’t great. The towing capacity is good, except it’ll kill

The impact on ev range from towing is orders of magnitude more than ice vehicles.

The iOS version still keeps me entertained, although it’s still waiting on the final expansion. It’s an excellent port though, intuitive and easy to pick up coming from pc.

You’re being purposely disingenuous - people don’t want concept cars to go to production, they want good concept cars to go to production. Being different and ugly isn’t the same as different and attractive. Hell, even the specs are disappointing.
This is a horrendous design. It’s entirely possible to make a great

Pretty sure he’s said that’s standard, so that should be cool

Except the Ranger and the Hilux are amongst the most popular vehicles worldwide, and have been for a while.  True, these normal sized vehicles weren’t popular in the US, where everyone thinks they need an F350 dually or whatever, but in the rest of the world the standard size ute has been killing it for ages. Plenty

Oz doesn’t have anything like the access to Japanese imports that we do, with lots of restrictions to protect local manufacturing.

New Zealand > all.

I don’t know the broadcast situation in the US, but is Indy on free-to-air over there, on one of the main networks? Or is it available only via a cable package or whatever form of “limited” availability operates?

I am a better person than everyone else, which results in an interest in motorsport.

Because they haven’t actually operated that way for 50 years, resulting in duplication of every other part of the armed forces?
