Is there a game with a bigger discrepancy between the trailers and in-game visuals? WoW still looks like a 1999 game, and plays like one too.

Holy shit, are you serious? I have been advocating for getting rid of the marines for years, on the basis that they no longer represent a specific, distinct force, but are instead attempting to replicate every other part of the armed forces. This of course is taken well by marines, who are generally known for their

I assume this is so someone can mod in a story that makes sense?

How do you know?

The more egregious inaccuracy will be the “America Fuck Yeah” mis-telling of the story, peddling a false narrative that it was the salt-of-the-earth Ford good old boys who stepped up and defeated the evil soulless monsters at Ferrari.

The issue for anyone who buys them is having to invest in new platforms. If VAG keep going with them it’s easy as they’ll just be based on the next R8 platform, so there’s cost savings galore. The Huracan is basically an R8 with different panels, so it’s not like VAG wouldn’t happily kill the last elements of an

I disagree, simply because the McLaren is so much faster you’re into scary territory. It wouldn’t feel safe or stable, as that would mean it’s going too slowly.

I will fight you on this.  It was an arrogant, ridiculous idea that was destined to fail, and I experienced no small measure of delight when the plug was pulled.  It was a poor idea, executed poorly, born of hubris and ego.

What a load of shit. This is definitively not what happened, and I don’t see an article talking about how Mercedes forced Bottas to drive slowly so he wouldn’t be ahead of Kanye.

Jalopnik drank the kool-aid last time as well, writing how SCG would drive to LeMans, win the race and then drive home again, as if somehow all these major manufacturers haven’t really even been trying for the last 50 years.

I would think the Land Rover weighs more in comparison as it has safety features whereas the Jeep has a “thoughts and prayers” attitude to safety.

If you wanted to construct a perfect example of how every single aspect of the procurement, design and build of a piece of military hardware could be both completely wrong and subject to extreme incompetence, nothing you could come up with would come close to the F35 program.

It’s 2025, with the game available in an alpha to those who pledged over $1000 each for a “founders pack”. A set of new ships are released for sale, whilst core gameplay is largely absent. Via surveys and discussions with the VIP members, the developers have decided to add Battle Royale to the game. Unfortunately

Can you (or someone else) be more specific about the issues? Is it to do with the people running the event (assuming it’s not run by IndyCar directly?), or is it that the track is dated and therefore doesn’t have things like safer barriers and high enough fences?

Source?

Do you have any sources for that? I mean I know he says everyone who buys a Tesla is really buying a cab company that shits money, and the battery licensing thing has been part of Tesla since day1 (with few takers it should be noted), but everything I’ve seen suggests he’s committed to saving the world via the $35k

The Marines of course are demanding a species of mules that can breath underwater and are capable of turning into a suspension bridge for short periods.

People need to get past the idea that this is about Musk tweeting - it’s about the CEO of a company putting misleading or false information about his company into the marketplace.  The platform isn’t relevant. I don’t see why Musk has such a hard time with the concept.

A couple of thoughts/corrections:
