“Where’s the battery?”

“It’s that white box behind the cab.”

Once you start parking hundreds of cars it’s the only way to do it. The logistics of keeping the keys separate become exponentially difficult

An insurance claim is as good as a sale on the books when you’re desperate.

I guess you’ve never picked up a car from a big auction yard.

You went through 4 trucks in 10 years?

The roof is dry. Why the fuck is the pavement wet? It leaks that much?
The second one ran out of oil?

You think they would make it that far in an FCA product?

That could end up being a troubled bridge over water.

Don’t worry. The countries with more expensive petrol make it up on cheaper healthcare and broadband and mobile service while they’re taking their 5 or 6 weeks of vacation right after starting a new job...

Let’s just say, that I was surprised this article dident consist of a embedded YouTube video of “engineering explained”.

It would only be slightly cooler if he could have managed to get a Holden stateside.

This is fantastic. I wonder if US diplomats in, say, Germany, drive Mustangs or Camaros to represent their country in a similar way

Startup idea: Diplomats get to bring cars in that would otherwise be banned from US roads. Weirdo Jalops want to drive these cars. We’ve already got apps like Getaround and Turo that let people rent out their cars—start one dedicated solely to otherwise prohibited cars with diplomatic plates: DIPLO.

if it’s Golf or Bolt, go Bolt, otherwise get a GTI

My local PD would either laugh at you and hang up or find and arrest you for something like public intoxication.

Yes...but Toyota is still selling well over 300k of them and making $. I don’t care what vehicle it is; if you’re selling 300k of them, you should be able to make money at it.

But Ford stock is up 3% after hours! /s

Toyota is selling over 700,000 Camrys/Corollas this year and evidently making money at it. Ford is abandoning the segments completely; this is insane. I’m a Ford fanboy (see username) but this is an awful, short-sighted decision that they’re going to regret for a long, long time.

The C-Max is a CAR?!?

This strikes me as a choice that Ford may find regrettable when gas prices climb back up. But I’d assume that Ford has put much more thought into this decision than I have.
