Can we advance time 20 years and let the ridiculous "devil's playthings" impression of videogames currently held by the old guard to just bloody die off, already?

Don't respond to them. Let them sink.

I'm not certain who the guy in this gif is but for some reason I want to punch his face so hard.

Now playing

Whoever made this video makes this look easy, but this level from Taz-Mania (Genesis) is easily one of the worst minecart segments in my memory of gaming. I can still remember the rage/frustration from trying/retrying this way too many times.

Yup. I agree with you as well.

I never finished Lost Odyssey. The part with the boat and the timed assaults against the same boss over and over again ruined me on it. This was a shame. I was enjoying it immensely to that point but the sudden grindiness it demanded ruined my mood.

The Gameboy I got as a birthday present in 1990 is mostly responsible for my current love of gaming. My only regret is that I no longer have it.

Personally I like this one so far the best.

It's a basic patent illustration, and compared to others I've seen, this is practically a masterwork.

I still like the DualShock pad/layout, I hated the original PS3 controllers, though. Way too light. Hopefully the extra tech in these will add a touch more heft and then I bet they'll be pretty nice.

+1, Agreed, So true, and so on...

SO what dafuq is this?

Defnitely a supercut.

I am interested in this.

MS Flight Simulator '97 actually had a thing in the back of the manual to record your flight experience in-game and a way to contact a flight school to apply for further, actual lessons.

I would hope no one would take the principles of the game and apply them to the real world. That's just backwards.

I am well aware of that fact. I used that word wrong in the original post and have been taking heat for it ever since. Does no one read the other replies to see that they were not the first to point this out?

I got a couple PS2s in a closet, awaiting my purchase of a TV to hook one up again. I couldn't wait, and downloaded epsxe instead just so I could play this game again. Been playing this fine game again for the past few nights. Hearing that orchestral swell in this FMV once more the first time I booted up the disc gave

My start screen on my PS2 was crammed with towers. Such a cool little detail.

This would be the sensible choice for sensible people.
