So very true. Pulled pork is one of the best things ever. In my mind comparing McRib and good pulled pork is much the same as comparing a rhinestone-encrusted tennis ball to a Fabergé Egg.

I never found electing to not enter the cave and go derp around in this little forest over here and fight caterpillars for the next 45 minutes to represent much of a choice, or even an illusion of one.
Agreed. The only better lunch in my mind/school was the Thanksgiving Meal with the open-faced turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, and gravy.
My elementary school used to make what could be considered a knock-off of this sandwich for the lunch menus about once a month. I would argue they were just as good as, or better than the McD's variety. At least, in my head they were.
I never stood up and said it was a great Final Fantasy, but am certainly taking umbrage with the idea that was any more linear than previous entries once you step back and look at it. It seems to be what people seize on with it first, and I think it's by far the weakest argument against it.
Ah, now these are some complaints I can get behind! One thing I would say, though, is that when the battle system finally took off, it was good. Frantic, fun, and above all, fresh. Just took damn ages to get to that point.
I mentioned the previous titles are just as linear and you're possibly unhinged if you think otherwise. Okay, not sure what you're doing here except for agreeing with me?
I edited my post while you were making this one, apparently. It seems like I responded directly to you. Wild. Just so we're on the same page, the "Get a grip" is directed at everyone in general.
Said it before, I'll say it again—
You're completely ignoring the pedigree established by many of the heads at Obsidian that was set before Obsidian was a company. THAT is what people are referring to when they talk about Obsidian (or more accurately the people at Obsidian) being behind some of the best RPGs of all time.
"I don't like it, therefore it can't be popular, thus its popularity is a conspiracy."
Expert in what? Bullshittery?
They know they're competing. For most prey animals their entire existence is devoted to the simple task of staying fed and not getting killed by something else while doing it.
Sorry, but if you do not understand hunting and hunting culture, do not comment on it.
Long live the arrow. May it rest in peace.
Think you're being a touch dramatic, there.
Best part of Borderlands 2 is music. It was unbelievably badass stuff.
I was coming here armed with a picture link to list this very choice. I love the Jehuty design. Zipping around with total 3D freedom and slaying mecha and droids with those cluster missiles and melee attacks was one of the best parts of owning a Playstation 2.
You're missing the point, it's not about games just released in 2012, it's what was searched most in 2012.
2012 may be all kinds of absurd but I think it's some of the best kinds of absurd. I was entertained enough to get it on DVD and watch it periodically still. Don't care about the crap science. Watching California sink into the ocean and an RV outrun a super-volcano is more than worth it.
