Looks like, but this game in particular raises an interesting question— how would you get a model of the city to export out of a game containing 99% pre-rendered scenes?

Nah. Would get kinda mildewy.
I did say it looked pretty good, but that grass is just shit. Also know all about that scenic beauty with places like this just 15-20 miles outside where I grew up. That is beauty, but a field of neon-green shag carpet is not it, IMO.
I said it looks pretty good, I just think that grass is shit.
To a degree I agree with Dane M. I'm all for some color, but it doesn't need to fall off the deep end into Kinkade painting territory.
First, these are indeed beautiful.
Beg authority all you want but I've probably worked in food industry longer (and with Real Food at that) and know quite well what's in that "shake" product. Is there dairy? Sure, and about a novel's worth of chemical support agents that I take an informed stance of NOT EATING because they are not very good for you at…
These FO:NV entries are really increasing my desire to play this game again soon. Keep them up if you got any more, these pieces are fantastic. How awesome would it be to see more in-depth gamesblogging like this on here? I'd love more of it for other games as well!
No, because it's only a partial-dairy product that's mostly gelatin, pigment, and thickeners. It's a "milkshake" in the same way that pre-sliced shit is "cheese."
Which is why I don't eat fast food milkshake/soft serve ice cream.
A Burger King I once worked at stored its milkshake in bladders.
Deviously simplistic question with a seriously complex answer.
lol, no, most living room games really didn't need that, unless it was a new RPG and you needed to figure out stat allocations. The most you were doing with a manual for most games was seeing which buttons were jump and attack and marvelling at the usually pretty artwork.
Largest update I've seen on 360 was the NXE update back in '09, and that took maybe a half-hour from start to finish, tops. Nothing like this. They aren't even comparable.
So essentially it's a way to force iron-sights for any game.
Gun weight aside, try and do the same movements IRL that you do in a FPS game and you'll beat yourself up pretty fast. Momentum is a bitch. Not really arguing anything here, just wanted to point that out.
I tend to agree with AnonymousGuy here. Controllers just feel better, even if they are a little harder to learn/use. I feel more "into" the game when using a controller. M&KB is the same thing I do all day while dealing with spreadsheets, just faster and louder.
A little trash talk is all part of the game. Gotta let someone know how nice it was to get the chance to own their face now and again. Though it's usually pretty bad if people just spit a never-ending stream of invective. That's just frustrating and annoying. That's when the mute button comes into play.
For a game on a 7 year old console, it looks pretty damn good. Unless you're one of those types that gets a hard-on exclusively from raw technical numbers and the number of integers and x's you can apply to your AA spec, it's hard to deny that the aesthetic overall is quite gorgerous if not heavy on bloom.
Feel free to bitch about whatever. At least have the common courtesy to consider whose time you're wasting while doing it. And then bitch about whatever as you see fit.
