Ah, but by the time we have the blu-ray's successor, those opposed to the playback of blu-ray discs (ie, Nintendo, Microsoft) will probably be looking into solid state drive formats for their newer consoles. Nintendo is always off doing its own thing, so it matters little to them what MS and Sony are up to, but I

If they don't, I suppose it'll be up to the hacking community to figure that one out! My understanding is that it'll probably be using Steam or Games for Windows, though, so...

That was the first thing on my mind when I saw that picture.

That was the first thing on my mind when I saw that picture.

@Kadin: That kind of reminds me of the one 3DS tech demo video we got before the actual announcement. It certainly is a dick move to people who can't handle 3D. I wouldn't want to either if my eyes were bad... just because a bunch of inconsiderate game developers decided that 3D should be more than a gimmick doesn't

@Pyro3000: There aren't going to be any new areas, dude. I think they've clarified that it's an honest-to-goodness remake - improved visuals, improved controls, but no new content.

Hollywood has a natural propensity to never do anything correctly according to the fans, so that's kind of an impossibility. Hell, if Paul W.S. Anderson gets a hold of this, we might not even be fortunate enough to get Dante as a main character.

I'm not sold on this yet. Will there be musical scenes?

"Hi. Can I be the main character and totally derail the story?"

@Who wants toast?: You don't really need footage for the 3DS Rayman game. Provided they've put the effort in, it's likely going to be a remake of Rayman 2: The Great Escape.

Don't count on it. The 3DS isn't getting a shop until May, which means that any virtual console support is zip until that point in time.

Well, I don't have heatsinks, so OCing is a pretty bad idea for me to begin with.

Not again... I'm too old for this shit.

Believe, damn it. Believe.

It's kind of tragic how young D&D players were persecuted in the 70s/80s. Sometimes, fanatics just take things way too seriously.

@CoffeyWasHere: I think you're 100% correct on the issue of principles.

This time, you can be the Starr?

@Eltigro: Hopefully it wasn't a copy of Vagrant Story or something. That would be horrible, considering how much original copies cost.
