They should call this franchise Animal Double Crossing, because you’re constantly getting fucked over.
... well, definitely not Game of Thrones. There are way too many characters, so you’d be switching perspectives every three minutes.
Doesn’t really work for metal music, considering that the lyrical content is often violent and laden with vulgar phrases (etc., Periphery, The Contortionist). It’s a good thing some musicians don’t really depend or need YouTube monetization, but for people who are just starting out like me or other bands, that’s one…
Should say “old sport”, not chief. Much disappoint.
Gave you a star for the Mitchell And Webb reference. Wish I could give you a second star because of how applicable the reference is.
You magnificent son of a bitch.
You know what, fuck this half-measure crap. You’re missing the point. It isn’t about making an “alpha male” display or being tough, it’s about responding with an appropriate level of violence. It wasn’t just laying on the road. Just going up to a random animal and doing that — that’s abusive, sure. The cat viciously…
Wuh-oh, we’ve got a badass in here.
Even if the tracks are being compressed by YouTube, the audio itself was already compressed to some extent to begin with. It’s a non-issue.
Oh, gee. That was really awe-inspiring. I can substitute a popular, modern concept with a ridiculous concept and sound satirical/smart, too. You could literally apply that logic to anything that might be construed as dangerous and get a cheap and easy response of approval.
Thanks! I’m glad you like what I’ve got so far. Your stuff is also really awesome and I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. You are right though, technically the medium doesn’t and shouldn’t matter (although I have my preferences for certain environments over others).
That’s really cool! I don’t use real hardware unfortunately. For now, I’m just sticking to Famitracker. I may move on to Deflemask to work on a Mega Drive/Genesis-like album after I’m finished with my current one.
Cool! I’ve done the same. Listening to Gravity Well as we speak, it’s a really cool track. As for my stuff, be forewarned that I pander more to chipmusic for the videogamey kind of aesthetic, writing stuff that evokes a particular theme or sounds like it belongs to a particular level. I try to stretch technical and…
Been reading the thread. If you’re looking for new stuff (and don’t mind a composer shamelessly plugging his stuff!), I write chiptune. Here’s some stuff I’m working on for my first album.
… he never claimed to be?
Most of the stages are designed well enough to accommodate Mega Man's size in MM7. If you wanna talk about screen real-estate being an issue that draws you away from a game, blame MM8. MM8 brought Mega Man's size back down, but the stage designs (in my opinion) didn't really scale back down with him.
For example ...…
Seriously, I'm sick and tired of hearing people say "just skip Dream Drop Distance, it's a side-story". It really isn't a side-story, just like BBS and CoM/Re:CoM aren't side-stories. DDD has got really good gameplay despite the fact that the worlds are somewhat empty, and it pretty much sets the story up for the…
I totally agree with you. A hundred times over. The GameBoy brand (the original brand, not color or advance or whathaveyou) managed to do well despite an unimpressive product design and the presence of many competitors with better-looking games. Battery life is not much of a selling point anymore, but I can see…
You guys are just fishing for puns at this point.
