I seem to have misplaced my downvote button. But I'm giving you a downvote anyway.

Damn, you beat me to it. I'm not sure that Stef's first line was a reference to this, but it was absolutely the first thing that popped into my head when I read it.

That's like calling the Fiesta and the Focus and the Fusion all the same car.

...fosters competition in the marketplace...

Maybe I am just clueless about the Jeep market these days, but are that many people really lifting anything other than Wranglers?

How much were they trying to charge for it? My guess that has much more to do with the reason it went unsold for a year.

It's interesting to see what the criteria for the ratings are. I never really gave it too much thought, but had always kinda assumed that tow ratings were primarily determined by lawyers and bean counters (setting an number low enough to keep them from incurring liability from lawsuits from people that towed too much

So, basically BMW took a look at the dumpster fire that is their naming conventions, and decided to kick it up a notch?

Yeah, the difference in ease of ingress/egress is a big one. Being young and healthy, that was something I really took for granted... right up until I broke my leg a couple months ago. Now I am back on my feet (yet walking like an old man), just a couple extra inches of ride height make all the difference in the

I would even be willing to argue that it isn't even so much that consumers don't care about handling (I have to think that most consumers care about handling on SOME level) as much as it is that the handling of many crossovers is actually quite good by everyday driving standards. What consumers mostly don't appear to

Yep. Same here.

Yeah. I used to have an '06 Off Road with the 6-speed, but have since traded it for an 80-Series Land Cruiser. This would absolutely tempt me to switch back to the Xterra.

Did they say it was going to be the 5.0 V8? I was thinking that, since that engine is going into the Titan, the Frontier would be getting something smaller.

Any word on the engine making it into the Xterra too? They share the same platform as the Frontier, so it doesn't seem like it would be too mutch of a stretch. A diesel Xterra with a 6 speed (which is already available on the Xterra) in the Off Road trim would be absolutely brilliant.

A dealer will TRY anything to make more money, including initially offering 1/10th the original value on a 4 year old car, if they feel that the person they are dealing with is a complete sucker. That doesn't mean that they won't pay something close to its actual trade in value if you even have the smallest amount of

I don't think this math checks out. Are you assuming that the car is worthless at that point? The car would certainly be worth something (and I am guessing that it would probably be worth a bit more than $6k, too) so if he is trading it in, that is going to reduce the amount of the loan.

Depends. Did you actually send him yours? Or was it really Brett Favre's? Be honest. I don't want to be counting duplicates...

Over/under on how many dick pics are now in this guy's inbox?
