Same here. I’m not Indian and I live in Australia, and my first reaction to news of their marriage was ‘Who is he again? Oh yeah... WOW, he really married up!’

...and in summer large, frosty mugs of hefeweizen at the pavilion in the park in the warm sunshine...and after a workout, the traditional bananaweizen at the bar IN the gymnasium... followed by the unisex sauna... ah Germany.

I first had Stollen when I lived in Bavaria for a few years and I love it. In my opinion the Germans do Christmas season right. Night markets in the little town square, paper cones of warm candied almonds, a hot mug of gluhwein steaming in your gloved hands as soft snowflakes drift down out of the night sky...
