Yep. I watched Real Time on Friday hoping for some post-Election commiseration. He went straight for the stupid “LIBERAL FAKE OUTRAGE OVERLY PC” hot-take he always falls back on and also his other favorite - Islamophobia.

He’s also extraordinarily Islamophobic. Basically agrees with the extreme right-wing that it’s a “religion of violence.”

Ugh yes, my liberal white dude brother is always telling me how much of a genius Bill Maher is and I tell him that I’ve always gotten a sexist vibe from him and am not a big fan.

Start with Bill Maher who thinks that the reason that we lost the election is because liberals are too politically correct. Note that white straight men are never subjected to hate speech, so how the hell should he know about the shit that the rest of us go through?

But it sounds like it sunk in for Ben Carson.

He spent the whole election telling us how unqualified he was for the presidency, but too many people refused to listen.

The fact that he’s still under the impression that people want to be “in suspense” about what he’s doing with the government is mind boggling. How many years will it take him to realize the presidency is not a reality TV show? What a fucking gong show.
