Funding to train nurses? And changes to the NAFTA visas recently had Canadian advanced practice nurses told that they could no longer work in the US unless they obtained HB1 visas. One hospital in Michigan alone suddenly lost 25 nurses.

Most of us live awfully close to the border. With the EPA gutted, all kinds of pollution will start drifting our way.

And there are more than a few war tax resisters in the United States who would rather pay for PBS than the military.

I think these articles tend to come in waves, every few years.

Or at the very bare minimum, if they were really stuck for time, someone who wasn’t going in front of the press could have given him their shoes to wear.

My Grandma was supposed to go see Queen Elizabeth and King George in Sudbury, ON as president of her local Women’s institute, but she was very pregnant with my mother at the time.

And for anyone who lived through the Meech Lake and Charlottetown Debates the words “Constitutional change” still induce panic attacks, so it’s just better for our psyches to keep them on.
