@chaos_isnt_here: I don't see anywhere on the ebay listing the guise of it being the original work, other than the artist not outright saying "this is a recreation of someone elses work."

@ashto10: Selling an individual "fine art" painting is different than mass producing goods in the eyes of the courts. I don't think a company can touch an artist for something like this.
I might be the only one who cares, but why are they doing two different sheens on the console? Matte and Gloss? Why does the gloss equate to the more expensive console? Personally I like my matte sheen on my Elite, I just find this whole thing weird.
@Sakilla: For me the game looks shitty in part because of the lack of parallax; it feels very very flat with only one speed of moving art. The second thing is when two disparate "rooms" are placed side by side and completely visible at the same time a bit of the "magic" is lost from the original.
@Bedlam: I'm sure someone will make a new HD metroidvania game after the success of Shadow Complex last year.
@Tomsta_666: As much as I don't like this particular game, I have to disagree about it not needing multiplayer. I think this is a great exercise in branching out the license and letting fans of Castlevania hook up and have fun running around; as long as nobody has any illusions about what the game is. And probably…
@senselocke: I feel your pain. I don't know if they put any kind of lock and key mechanisms in to where one person has to be on a completely different section of the map than someone else, but if they did then I can see that as the only reason as to why they "couldn't" do local multiplayer (vs just "wanting" to.)
@Kent: Not playing the game is one thing, but playing the trial and forming a basis is no fault of anyone on this board. Don't put defensive words into the mouths of the developers who would not necessarily say the same thing. If they wanted to say it they would not have made the demo single player only, or put a…
@ew2x4: exactly. instead of starting preproduction on a new project, or taking some vacation time after what is likely a tough run up to going gold, they all uproot and move to the manufacturing plant and do it themselves.
well i guess it was good i changed my icon a few weeks back. i am very happy to inspire so many people in so many ways. (oh sweet sarcasm.)
@MazeltovCocktail: instead I think they are working on the discs getting manufactured and distributed to the retail locations. Making 5 million discs isn't like ordering a pizza.
@StubbornScorpio: hahaha, yeah it was pretty awful
@CowLion: It is not a flash game. Each frame of animation was hand drawn, something not done in flash.
@bilbopoop: well everything was filmed first, then cut together in Premeire by Adam. He then went to the level with the satellite dish, then looked straight up in the sky and played the game. After importing the video into Premeire he did a chroma key on the blue sky and basically blue screened it out. He had to…
@soma.addict: haha. i couldn't help but share. we should get Orangina Viechkin up on youtube also.
god i miss making movies like this. here's one my friends and I made way back in the day (98-99ish)
@MechaTama31: oh, i meant the MECC or whatever. like the logo at the start of the game. so rad!
i think the trailer could have been half as long and still been the same amount of funny. The best part for me was the logo of the developer at the end
Well I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited. I loved the first Dirt, and was excited for Dirt 2 but thought it felt too much like the X-games and less like the legacy of world racing which preceded it. The fancy polish of the first Dirt was wiped away and replaced with a very commercialized "bro" kind of feel to…
@Dayvie: little touches like that really separate the wheat from the chaff. i actually forgot who Midas was until the ground started being turned to gold. :)
