In terms of color and graphics, I spoke to a guy at Codemasters at E3, and he told me this game uses the same engine as DiRT and Grid. So graphically speaking, this should look phenomenal.

@Mundus: After reading into it further, they are affecting the people who modded their game saves. Probably copying them to the computer then copying back to the Xbox.
@GoldPaintedLemons: According to my wife, who played way more Fallout 3 than me, your father's race changes based on the race you choose at the start of the game.
I still remember back in the day when the street fighter 2 art was all airbrushed because Americans wouldn't be able to grasp the concept of anime.
@SoumyaMurena: Nice! I was going through a modern art history book a few weeks ago and came across his work. The first thing I thought of was the PAL Ico cover. I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows about this.
Something that I don't see being mentioned at all (and if it is, I apologize, because there are so many comments now) is games which have character creation in them. Obviously, the makers of these games should be given some kind of props for allowing users to create characters to their likeness.
Chimera!
after reading all the comments I still don't understanding HOW people are cheating (hardware mod, game exploit?), or WHAT the cheating results in (high score?)
@Boneyard: some kind of mean superhero
This presupposes that the avatars also move like white characters. I do not stand and pose the way the avatar does either. All the avatars behave the same, we are all part of the same xbox collective, get over it.
@hallowethe: If you can't understand by any one of the numerous, descriptive replies to your original statement, then you probably never will. Not meant as a slight at you at all, but as an observation.
@Hey_Blinkon: I don't think outrage is even close to over the top. I would say it has more to do with the sheer volume of people who have this sentiment, which can make it seem to be over the top, but most of the upset people share the same reasons for being upset.
A perfect example of reading the fine print. Knowing exactly what will happen when you sign. Do a thorough background check on what you are getting involved with.
@Revenge_of_Nekojin: I double promote this comment.
It's good to see Twisted Pixel is thriving and being experimental.
This doesn't look nearly as cool as Contra 4.
So did anyone get their 800 MS points back yet for buying all the Summer of Arcade games? I know the deal ended on the 31st, and I bought all the games, but haven't gotten my 800 points back. I also can't find any information anywhere on when we can expect to get the rebate.
Complaining about "hot coffee" in San Andreas is like going backstage at The Lion King broadway production and discovering that the actors are naked in their dressing room. You weren't supposed to go back there, you were never meant to see it.
@DenaHermaphroditus: This is a common thing on Kotaku. It's more of a collective blog, ripe with spelling errors and heavy agendas, than a top-shelf news source.
Between this and A Boy and His Blob, we are going to have some pretty nice looking Wii games this year.
