No, I did not realize that. My comment about a drawing being proof that she was lying about her age and "sheeple" being a term for people from New Zealand was entirely, 100% serious. Well-spotted.

WHAT 17-YEAR-OLD KNOWS WHAT A GRAMOPHONE LOOKS LIKE? WAKE UP, SHEEPLE. ("Sheeple" is what people from New Zealand prefer to be called.)
Voguing. Of course, she's on record as being a racist piece of shit in general.
"You acted like you invented something a black subculture had been doing for years? Whoa, me too!" They fuckin' deserve each other.

I just can't get behind it as catchy or an earworm. Half the song he's not even attempting rhyme or meter. It's not rap, it's slam poetry.
It's one of the only things with a Grammy presence I've heard, but half the stuff I don't think I've heard, I usually end up hearing and then going "Oh, THAT'S [song]?"
I most certainly did not think "Thrift Shop" was catchy. Libel, madam.
That was pretty great but I don't feel like it needed the title cards. All they do is emphasize the contrast between the audio and the video, which kind of speaks for itself already.
We should try and get #FuckPhyllis trending, then maybe we'll get school off.
Is it really? I feel like the "look at this embarrassing yearbook photo of a famous person" is a fairly common, benign trend. And those are usually politicians with embarrassing '70s hair; this is a guy who's fairly goofy-looking by design.
Of course it is. It is not, however, possible to imply that simply not being a homophobe/racist/misogynist doesn't automatically make you Honorary King of the Oppressed Peoples without straight white people who fancy themselves progressive freaking the fuck out. Never come between an ally and their cookies.
The fact that Macklemore is the type of guy who Instagrams himself sending a text meant to make himself look humble is really "ally" culture in a nutshell. Certain people, you get the sense their enthusiasm for doing good is proportional to their visibility doing it.
Yeah, but at least those aren't "literally disgusting." They disgust me in a metaphorical sense.
Somewhere Clint Eastwood's going "Why isn't anyone but me upset that Beyonce was grinding on the president?"
She is wonderful and "She Keeps Me Warm" is a better song in every conceivable way.
Seriously. Awful nice of Madonna to cut in on the only actual queer person involved in the song.
He also told David Gregory that women have no institutional disadvantages because his sister is an OB-GYN. He then proceeded to worry that it's men who are falling behind, although by his logic they can just run for Senate on the family name.
I can't hear this song's title without immediately assuming it's this.
