PHEV is the way to go.  Last year I bought a BMW X5 45e (PHEV) and it was a game-changer. With the federal EV tax credit, it was about the same price ($65K) as the 40i model and I am able to drive mostly on electric around town. I usually go about 700-1000 miles between fill ups.

The world is such a better place because Belafonte was in it. Music is better and people are just a little freer. I think that’s the best legacy anyone can leave after 96 years on Earth.

Jeep also has the 2-row Grand Cherokee available in the 4xe PHEV version.

Speaking to what I can:

Balls of steel! We need more like him today.

A very accomplished gentleman. May he rest in peace.

RIP. May the ancestors greet you with open arms.

RIP Mr. Belafonte. The world lost a titan, today.

The amount of time, money and energy wasted hating on people Just because they were born with Darker Skin is wild. No matter if you believe or not, that is some Demonic S***....On a lighter note, can I still buy a Jacket like this?:

I know that the Cayman is the benchmark for this price point and class of car. But they’re a dime a dozen. If the Emira is as good as you are saying, I’d buy it in part, because it’s not the Cayman. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Porsche. But, this just seems a little more special.

I rather enjoyed last night’s new episode with the fan wars. Also, sparkling whiskey should be a thing, if it isn’t already.

Screw off-roading. This is the car you need if you’re working in the mean city.

That Honda is quite the find. My default would have been to find a newer one but the market knows how valuable the reliability of those things are. That might be a steal, even for a twenty year old car you intend to use as a daily.

Thank you for making the real list! Articles like this seem like they are slapped together then put in a slide show just for clicks. At this point AI could already be writing them.

I have a soft spot for these cars. Brown paint with a plaid interior is objectively the best combination for an Eagle. NP as long as you don’t find a bunch of extra crispy metal on the underside.

It’s a 40-year-old car with 81000 miles. 2000 miles a year isn’t anything. I’d bet it went bad from sitting for an extended time.

This is one of my bucket list cars. I’d almost rather have one of these than, like, a Ferrari F40. NP all day long and I think I might buy it.

The AMC I-6 engine is usually solid.  Wonder why it needed replacement before 81K miles?

When I’m in a traffic jam I try to look at the brake lights 2 cars ahead. Can’t do that if you can’t see through the car in front of you.

It’s less safe. Makes a better door than window. Drivers immediately behind it can’t see through the vehicle. It’s a fact that this results in higher percentage of rear end crashes.
