I'm sure that lump of coal will be a diamond any day now, Cameron.

"105,001 words? This guy is a regular O. Henry."

So this is your schtick? You want stats for all 249th draft picks? To see if you can, what, argue that the Rams' decision to cut Michael Sam was a statistically significant deviation from the fate of all other players picked at 249, while simultaneously conceding that better players are drafted earlier?

Yes, but not of the team (Bears) that drafted him.

There is a reason that the 256th, i.e. last, player selected in the draft is colloquially referred to as Mr. Irrelevant - not once has that spot made an NFL roster.

You're right, Tim. He's not just another player. Given the handwringing that the Rams knew was sure to occur if they cut Sam - see your thread of posts - the fact that they cut him likely means he is even less able to make it in the NFL.

"It will be pretty easy for the Rams to show Sam's cut was a football decision."

Ah, yes, parenting advice from the childless, from someone who will undoubtedly be consumed with being their child's friend.

+1.

So despite all the empower womyn diatribes that are posted on Jezebel, the basic premise of this post is that you still need a man's help.

+1. Fantastic.

No one had a sadder spiral than Steve Bartkowski.

WTF?

That is quite a suit, in contrast to the Professor Griff-esque black jacket/no tie/DESERT CAMO pants ensemble worn by entourage member number one.

Not even one complaint that the FCC has no jurisdiction over ESPN broadcasts?

Thanks, Samer. Now I am wondering if my mother had her name legally changed and has yet to tell me.

Bookie: That's right - Five-to-one that Sterling loses the team in a week. Two-to-one after that.

That was my first thought - She stepped out on him and he doesn't have to accept it or forgive it.

Thanks for the Typhoon track, Tom. White Lighter was my favorite album of last year with anything else a distant second.
