Motor Trend measured a Tesla Model S at 2.28 seconds 0-60. But quarter mile was 10.5 seconds. That was in 2017.

Agreed. FCA is so backwards and lazy, that all they could be bothered to do was tack a bed onto the rear end of a 4-door wrangler. The rear doors still have a kink to avoid a wheel well that isn’t anywhere nearby anymore.  And the vehicle got so damn long that the breakover and departure angles suck.

More than that, I’m delighted. In Fridley Minnesota in 2010, a loud pipes shop opened about 600 feet from my house. It drew bikers from miles around. All hours of the spring summer and fall, they’d open the throttle on the 60 MPH highway adjacent to the store and half a black from my house. You couldn’t sit outside

I would argue that the first “Genuinely Modern Car” was the Citroën Traction Avant.

The Type 3 was the first with electronic fuel injection.

The Unimog probably was on a ship sometime on its way to the mountain. Space ship, ocean ship; is there a difference?

Came here for this. Thank you.

I mean, I’m gonna get technical here, but doesn’t the tesla roadster hold the altitude record?

Wait wait. So, someone makes something neat out of metal using cutting edge technology and you guys get snarky and sarcastic quite obviously making fun of it.   FCA molds in shitty fake rocks in plastic or imprints stupid headlights on the windshield or prints a red jeep on a wheel and you guys cream your pants?

The blog, especially among its commenters, is left-leaning, particularly with all things Trump.

Trying to comment on a mobile device is an adventure and a half.

This might be the point you sound like an old man yelling at clouds.

Icon would do it. Singer would laugh you out the door.

The problem is not capitalism. You can’t do shit without capitalism, ask the Soviet Union. Oh that’s right you can’t.

“The tenets of capitalism keep wages low, but raise prices as high as they will go for max profit.”

This is not capitalism, *facepalm*.

No one is “killing” an industry, the industry isn’t adapting the it’s new (well not current) consumer in many cases. They’re killing themselves by not being forward thinking while keepin

They got the aftermarket wiper arm I see.
