This is a big reason I love my Model 3. I can adjust the steering wheel anywhere I like without blocking the instrument panel. The closest thing to that joy is my Infiniti G35x, which moves the instrument panel up and down with the steering wheel.

Same here. I’ll bet there were engineers that were complaining about center of thrust vs center of lift being way off and they were shut down. Engineers being silenced by decision makers has a long and bloody history.

Yes. Assuming they are not lying again is is a cost they dont need to incur. I’m sure they did a cost-benefit analysis. However, I think they will end up losing with this decision. They will lose sales to potential new customers, and royalty upset current owners. Current resale values will drop.
