@blyan is not on fire: I respect your candor, but I also question the usefulness of your cynicism.

God, this iPhone v. Android tension is really starting to grate on my nerves. Can't they just fuck and get it over with? It's so obvious that they pine for one another.

Good ol' Rom Buddy. There isn't really anything special going on here at all, is there? I mean other than someone playing with unfinished "Playstation Phone" hardware that manages to be wholly unimpressive considering the state of Android specs at the present (not the mention the specs that this thing will be

@diw321: Ha, what an absolutely absurd story. Thank you for sharing. What an epic amount of fail on AT&T's behalf.

Well, it's not like stateside IPTV is a distant pipe-dream or anything. It's here now, actually.

I'm not generally particular about these things (I mean, I've got an EVO, I'm used to subpar battery life *rimshot*) but this is a disappointing revelation.

I certainly hope you're right, if only to silence the incessant rumor mongering and conjecture about the CDMA iPhone.

@vladdybear: Apparently, it's a gesture area, ala the Pre.

It might sound a bit odd, but I'm of the opinion that the sleek, understated UI advancements on display here make the proprietary enhancements shown off by manufacturers like ASUS and Notion Ink look gaudy and ham-fisted. In fact, were it not for that loathsome Droid font present on the lockscreen digital clock face,

Yep, this is the new blueprint... for another two months. This phone war is getting ridiculous. I shouldn't be this jaded this soon.

It'll be very interesting to see how elegantly Microsoft can handle this, but, either way, it's a pretty daring maneuver. Sort of an unusual quandary - the major appeal of running Windows in a tablet form stems from the theoretical ability for your favorite programs to be run without fuss or muss, yet, as Windows is

I love it and it would seem that the game has been stepped up. Note to Android tablet manufacturers: If you're going to drape the OS in a custom skin, you'd better have a damn good reason for doing so.

"It is certainly big and bad, but what remains to be seen is how useful it'll be as a tablet."

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: This one's been getting trotted out since last year, but it actually hasn't gotten any less powerful than before. ASUS, unlike a lot of PC manufacturers, tends to actually ship their more daring concepts.

This article sits smack dab between epic troll and heady prognostication. I'm still playing the wait and see game since, for all intents and purposes, I can't tell whether or not Android (or HPalm, or Blackberry) can actually be a viable alternative to the iPad in the tablet form. I'm actually pulling for all of them

@Shyro: Sweet. Thanks for the heads up! Gizmodo springs to the rescue once again.

How in the hell is Vizio able to price their hardware so cheaply? Is everyone else simply overcharging? Are the factory workers taking a hit in their wages? Are the company's various boardmembers settling down to comparably meager wage earnings themselves?

So... how's the 3rd Birthday? Gotta be better than PE2 at least... right?
