@Adam420: Ha, I don't know. I'm just a pessimist! I'm still holding out hope, actually. And, for whatever reason, I don't place much stock in the alleged tracker.

Thanks for making me feel even worse for being rejected by Google for the Chrome Pilot Program, random Internet jackass.

I love a good FLAC as much as the next man, but I've never been terribly bothered by low-quality encodes. Average quality sound in our era is worlds beyond average quality sound from 25 years ago, format be damned. We could do a lot worse than 128kbps mp3s. (Speaking of which, I've got some excellent sounding

Oh man, I haven't rented a system in ages. That takes me back to my childhood days, when only Nintendo and Sega roamed the Earth.

@natedogXVI: Yeah I was a little confused about Tron's ultimate fate as well, quite honestly. A lot of people seemed to be remaining seated as the credits began to roll in my theater, so its definitely possible that there might've been something after the credits. I'll have to look around the web and see what I can

How much do you think Armond White had to pay the young Bogost to publish his review under her name? A couple bags of those (delicious) frosted circus animal cookies? A set of spinners for her bicycle? Inquiring minds want to know.

@soldier148: Excellent movie. You know a movie is brilliant when it runs for 3 hours and feels like 2.

@Loken: The House Always Wins: I have not suggested that the merits of homebrew outweigh the negatives of piracy. In fact, I would never suggest that the end result of any action necessarily justifies the means; it's lazy logic. Arguably, the problem lies in publication of the exploit and not the pursuit itself. If

@Khorney: That's almost too awesome for words. Godspeed, you code-monkeys.

Whoa shit, how long has Tao Lin been writing for Kotaku?

Homebrew games with the PS3 wide open? Gotta love the potential.

@trmentry: I'm not necessarily against the idea of metered billing for Internet access, but the implementation of that sort of methodology does raise questions of how the infrastructure could shift in that manner in a transparent, fair and well-regulated manner. It's still unclear how broad the FCC powers are exactly

@Whitson Gordon: I'd thought the same thing, but dismissed the idea because no one else seemed to have perceived it as such. I figured that the difference could be summed up by ignorance on my behalf, but maybe I was mistaken.

@Nfin1ty: Romance literature hasn't detracted from the idea of books as art, so I can't quite see how your argument tracks.

@lance.uppercut: Mothercraft? I saw that one shortly after posting that earlier message. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my feelings.

I'm thrilled that someone is doing this and all, but why hasn't anyone attempted an Earthbound/Minecraft mashup yet? :(

@forgotten_: BUY ME BONESTORM OR GO TO HELL!

This game is embarrassing the hell out of me. My best distance after 10 minutes of trying was some 3 odd meters. I might have to try this again later.

I can appreciate a bit of novelty in technique, but, at the end of the day, I could care less what tools an artist uses to accomplish their stated goals. iPad or not, these works seem terribly dull.

@The Cap'n: I know, right. Not only does he clear the area, he clears HIMSELF out of the area. Someone responsible for the design decisions must've really, really liked that characters.
