This is already quite fascinating, but I can't help but worry as to whether or not the (not-so) recently gutted Team Ninja is up to the arduous task of spearheading a new title in this heralded series.

@MtlAngelus: Even though I know Brian had committed a grievous error when he typed that, I still shit a brick.

Considering that I still watch this cartoon every day (and I'm currently doing just that), I could probably be interested in this. Not "pay you money to play it" interested, but definitely "partake in any free trial situation" interested.

@Derek Rumpler: @p.e.r.e.g.r.i.n.e.: Nope, you're not. I actually rank it just as highly as Castle of Illusion. Perhaps higher for reasons of nostalgia.

Am I the only person holding out hope that this particular iteration of Final Fantasy is more Parasite Eve than Dirge of Cerebus? I know I shouldn't get too excited about this prospect, but it'd be sweet nonetheless.

Way to go Mikey :)

@nottsville: The screen accompanying this artice looked obscenely good, so much so that I thought it was an actual picture rather than a photo from a game.

Wow. I got to play with Nintendo's new Earthbound on the next version of Nintendo's DS. IT WAS AWESOME.

So I suppose that the Machop line of evolution was a healthy compromise then? Ha.

@EsquireBob: Three occurrences and you're already jaded about it? Impressive.

The "Giant Steps" cover linked on that page is quite righteous. Love.

Well... it certainly looks pretty.

The original Link's Awakening is still wildly brilliant, and perhaps my favorite 2D Zelda game to date.

Yikes. Wasn't the Rock Band TV show brutal enough? It's almost heinous enough to make it stray from my weekend "Metal Mania" lovefest. But not quite; Dio always sucks me right back into the fold.

Ha, I don't know why people are so angry about the Wii. I find the system lacking, but it doesn't physically pain me to see it succeed as it seems to do for certain others. If the Wii is truly a fad, then its decline will be both precipitous and sudden. If not, then prepare for a next-generation, three-way waggle

Do yourselves a favor people: Purchase an original, 60GB model. It's the one that Ken intended for you to have, with all the frills, bells and whistles. And now, you can have it for the price that it should've been released at. ($300-$450 USD) Ebay is your friend. Even cheaper if you're a bit industrious and buy a

Ha, Auto Modellista. Nostalgia is a curious beast.

Come on people, don't let Tabula Rasa be the ONLY thing you remember Garriot for. Have a sense of history, please.
