@WallaJoy- Snorlax?: Yeah, that was my guess. Of course, I was going to jokingly suggest this eventual outcome.

"Ultra-responsive frets?" "Analog whammy bar?" What the hell?

What brilliant journalism :) Fabricating a story out of mid-air, manipulating the mundane into the magnificent. Almost like a magician.

@shichi: Well, of course he doesn't. But that's because his armor absorbs the shock of warfare so admirably.

Give me Rock Band: Megadeth. That's more than enough to distract from this (heinous) band, for my money. Even with any minor quibbles I could have with Lars placed aside, I've never much cared for their music.

BTBAM? I'm in.

Hard@PollockRoc: I've got one more if I'm not too late to the party.

The boys over at [Starmen.net] routinely put Nintendo to shame when it comes to this franchise. And the rest of the world to shame when it comes to pure awesome.

So we can all agree to read this statement as one arising from Evil Dead era Raimi rather than the post-Spiderman 3 one, right? That's gotta be what we're doing here.

@nathew: Why yes, they did. It's even been sequalized. But, if I recall correctly, it's nowhere near as fun as this one is. Nor is the music as awesome.

@Krondonian: Yeah, I've discovered that as well... surprisingly to say the least. It almost makes me regret downloading the title as we speak. Almost.

I feel strangely compelled to hunt down a copy of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" as it sounds utterly fascinating. And I'm about to go purchase a copy of Silent Hill 4 as well as I've never actually played it. *Sigh*

@hessblake: Fair enough. If the touch had a larger capacity (or, more wisely, support for further expansion via sdhc), I'd be all over it. I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on purchasing something at that price point if its barely going to contain 1/3 of my total library.

For the love of God...

@ausroller: Truth be told, I preferred each title in the last-generation trilogy to GTA IV. I suppose such is to be the case in the transitional, first iteration of a series as renown for its free-roaming as this one, but it certainly felt like a step back. This despite the fact that there were many, often quite

God good. This whole "episodic" thing will be the death of me. Don't pull this shit with HL3, please.

@AkiraGr: Don't be so certain. This would probably still elicit a collective "WTF". As in "what the fuck" is the series doing in the 2000s. Or "who the fuck" green lit this title and "where the fuck" do they get their marijuana?

You lost sight of games when you packed your system so full of useless (but admittedly nifty) features that it was doomed to debut at a price point best engendered by the term "exorbitant". No gamers, no developers. No developers, no games. No games, No gamers. It's a vicious cycle, innit?

I'm pretty sure I played Smash Bros. more than 61 hours within the first week of release. I guess that makes me abnormal. Or just a plain ol' weirdo.
