Okay, but I got that experience from a sorority. I was in other clubs, and they were all great for different reasons, but I didn't get a feeling of closeness like I did with my sorority sisters. I wouldn't have joined if I didn't REALLY like them, and then it was cool to be able to live in a big house with them and

Okay, I'll give it a try: I joined because they had a CRAZY nice house. And I found out it was the exact same price as living in the dorms. That's what got me in the door. Then I met my grandbig, who is the most amazing, feminist, awesome person I've ever met (and who eventually was my biggest source of support when I

Hi! I'm just taking a break from getting my PhD in Economics (Development). Later this weekend, I'll take another break from studying to attend an alumnae brunch for my sorority. I'll get back to being a terrible person now! Enjoy your stereotypes!

But then they really ran with it and it became amazing in a whole new way.

Okay, this person is clearly unhinged, but I love that send off. I want to make it my email signature. For my real email.

Yikes! That's awful!

The thing that stuck with me the most was the part where they were like "so if sex feels so good, why aren't grownups doing it ALL THE TIME? Well, it's sort of like jump rope. It's lots of fun, but it's tiring too!"

Well sometimes it could be.

I don't remember a time when I didn't know what sex was. We had this book, and it was just like one of the normal picture books in our house. My parents were very chill about sex, and I think it's a big part of why I have a healthy attitude towards sex today.

As a sorority woman, who lived in a sorority house for two years with all of these rules about no alcohol and no men in certain areas of the house, I LIKED these rules. It was bad enough that the frat house next door had parties at all hours of the night every day of the week (or sometimes didn't have a party, but

Yeah, my dad's pretty much the best.

My dad, who moved to the US when he was 40, tells us that we're being "un-nice," no matter how many times we tell him that's not actually a word.

That's awesome, and I'm really glad to know that. I guess it could have used more detail then. I don't have a problem with personal details like this, I think they're important and her story is clearly a very interesting one, I was just weirded out with the structure of it.

Am I the only one weirded out by the mention of her becoming a mom in the first line? I wouldn't have minded it if it was just the mention later in the article, along with other fun facts about her personal life, but it seemed really weird mentioned as if it was one of her biggest accomplishments as a politician.

That's exactly what I meant. Because these people are clearly deranged.

Gays caused the rise of the Nazi party in the same way Jews caused the rise of the Nazi party. DUH

Are we sure her husband isn't actually Dale Kettlewell?

I adored that movie. Not only is it super important, it's probably the best rom-com in a while.

Ah, thank you! Downloading right now!

Seriously, what the fuck?
