Are they the logo or photos of her looking hot?
This easily explained: by default, almost all the people would go to see the premiere of a movie with “Batman” AND “Superman” in the title. I’m one of those people. But after viewing that, I promised myself to tell everybody who ask me if they should go to watch to do not, plus, to punch repeatedly in the face whoever…
Maybe it was just DC burnout? I mean after BvS, MoS, and SS, maybe people were waiting to see how it did before going to see it?
IKR?? Like, of course it is.
This is almost my exact experience. The last super hero movie I saw in the theater was the Batman that also had Danny Devito as the Penguin. I don’t even remember who played Batman in it. Instead of a fancy theater with table service though, it was my first IMAX 3D experience seeing Wonder Woman.
I have had so many convos with friends that go like this:
Woman friend: Did you see Wonder Woman? Wasn’t it great? It’s doing so well and I’m really happy about that because I’d love to see a sequel!
Other woman friend: Yes, I loved it! I’m taking (other woman or girl) to see it too.
Dude: It really wasn’t that great,…
my two boys (8yr & 10 yrs) are raving about WW and this movie has fostered more that an few conversations about war and perceived gender roles and defined/demonstrated heroic traits & heroism — much moreso than any other super hero film to date.
The last time I saw a super hero movie in the theatre or even at all (before wonder woman) Michael Keaton was batman. I think I went against my will with my parents. Super heros aren’t my thing. However, I binge watched Jessica Jones and I saw Wonder Woman. I didn’t just buy a movie ticket. I went to the fancy theatre…
Wonder Woman’s box office sweep continues. The film has already broken records for having the highest US opening…
I’m to the point where the only thing I found surprising about this is that he’s figured out how to embed a video in a tweet.
Because it’s often too risky/unethical to test things on pregnant women and fetuses. It’s a problem science hasn’t figured out.
Lol, I PROMISE you most of the people eating their placentas in this country are not poor. They’re the middle- and upper-middle class and wealthy who go full expensive granola on their childbirth process.
My hip-before-their-time parents did the tree thing. Which, eh kind of cool, but also not only do we not live at the house that has the trees, but we sold the property a few years ago, so now someone else has my placenta-fed apple tree. They should be enjoying apples (it takes like 10 years for an apple tree to…
So I guess my question is, why would you do something with no known medical benefits, but with known risks?
Not going to lie, I don’t understand you people at all. At all. At all.
this seems like a better use:
Eating medical waste can be harmful? Who could have possibly imagined that?!
I posted this down in teh grays when I meant to post it here. Sorry for double post.
As a kid I was told “If something comes out of your body, don’t put it back in! Your body threw it out for a reason.” This was said to keep me from eating boogers, but it can be applied universally. “If it comes out of one end, don’t put it into another.”
